Raipur 24 June 2025 : The Central Zonal Council meet organised in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah with chief ministers and top officials from four states discussed key issues including regional law and order, border security, disaster management and environmental conservation. During which Chhattisgarh Chief Minsiter Shri Vishnu Deo Sai highlighted the developments and potential of the state. 

In the 25th meeting of the Central Zonal Council Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that this council has become a strong platform for cooperation and coordination between the Center and the states, through which the development of various regions of Central India including Chhattisgarh has got a new direction.

Highlighting benefit of the Council, CM Shri Sai said that the Central Zonal Council has played a vital role in advancing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India. The council's key contribution to Chhattisgarh has contributed to progress in economy, internal security, cultural tourism, and infrastructure.

Decisive lead against Naxalism, new era of development in Bastar

Speaking on the Naxal problem, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that due to the strong will of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and better coordination between the states, a major success has been achieved against Naxalism in Chhattisgarh. The elimination of top Naxalite leaders such as Basavaraju and Sudhakar dealt a severe blow to the Naxalite movement, significantly weakening its core leadership and operations. For the development of Bastar, state government is working on projects worth several thousand crores like Bodhghat-Mahanadi Indravati Link. The approval of Raoghat-Jagdalpur railway line project is also an important step in this direction.

Tangible progress toward sustainable development and effective governance.

Chief Minister informed the council that state government is proactively making reformations, the suggestions given in the last meeting have been implemented rapidly. Achievements like 28 new bank branches in Naxal-affected areas, expansion of Dial-112 service, The successful rehabilitation of over 82,000 malnourished children stands as a powerful testament to our unwavering commitment to the state's development and well-being.

Chief Minister said that events like Bastar Pandum and Bastar Olympics have given a platform to local sports and cultural talents. Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, cards have been distributed to 87.2 percent of the citizens and 1033 out of 1075 government hospitals have been linked to it.

Chhattisgarh towards national leadership in energy, investment and industrial development

Highlighting Industrial development and scope in the state, Shri Sai said that following the implementation of the new industrial policy, Chhattisgarh has attracted investment proposals worth Rs 5.5 lakh crore, with Rs 3.5 lakh crore coming from the power sector alone. Currently ranked second in power generation nationally, the state aims to secure the top position by 2030. The consistent power supply—averaging 23 hours 27 minutes in rural areas and 23 hours 51 minutes in urban areas—highlights the effectiveness of Chhattisgarh’s energy management. Additionally, under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana, efforts are underway to connect 6 lakh households to solar energy.

Smooth services, empowered Panchayats and new white revolution

Chief Minister said that more than 1.5 lakh solar agricultural pumps in Chhattisgarh are providing irrigation facilities to the farmers. The MoU with NDDB will lead to new expansion in milk production in the state. Atal Digital Suvidha Kendras are becoming bridges of digital good governance in Panchayats and the effective implementation of the Public Service Guarantee Act 2011 has ensured transparent and timely delivery of services.

Chhattisgarh becomes a model state in development and good governance

Chief Minister Shri Sai affirmed that the Chhattisgarh government is wholeheartedly contributing to the mission of building a developed India under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He noted that the Central Zonal Council serves as an effective platform for dialogue and coordination, playing a key role in propelling Chhattisgarh’s growth and progress.

Raipur 23 June 2025/ Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, today interacted with security personnel in New Raipur, Chhattisgarh. During the interaction programme, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, the Union Home Secretary, the Director of the Intelligence Bureau, the Director General of BSF, and other senior officials were present.

Addressing the security personnel, the Union Home Minister paid tribute to the courage, valor, sacrifice, and dedication of the Central Armed Police Forces, the CoBRA teams, Chhattisgarh Police, and the District Reserve Guard (DRG). He said, "I have full faith that it is the bravery and tireless efforts of our security forces that make the battle against Naxalism a success."

Union Home Minister said that the way security forces have dismantled Maoist hideouts with immense courage, patience, and commitment has astonished security forces across the world. "I know that what our jawans set out to achieve, they always accomplish," he added. Shri Shah further asserted, "It is the trust in our security forces inspired by which I keep reiterating that we will eradicate Naxalism before the 31st of March 2026."

Shri Amit Shah said that Naxalism has been a major catastrophe for poor tribal regions, leading to the deaths of nearly 40,000 people over the last 35 years, while many more have been left disabled. He said that Naxal violence deprived the poor tribal population of basic necessities such as food, electricity, education, housing, toilets, and clean drinking water — let alone any possibility of industrial development. Entire regions were forced to live in conditions akin to slavery for decades, and the root cause of this suffering was Naxalism. The Home Minister expressed satisfaction that as Naxalism is being eliminated from various regions, the Chhattisgarh government is ensuring the delivery of food, healthcare, education, electricity, housing, sanitation, and clean drinking water — thereby connecting people with the mainstream of development.

Union Home Minister said, “When a child picks up a pencil instead of a gun and begins writing 'Ka, Kha, Ga', it doesn’t just change the future of that child, but of the entire nation. That moment is very close.”

Shri Amit Shah stated that when the country becomes free from Naxalism in March 2026 under the leadership of PM Modi, it will be one of the most significant moments since Independence. He said that when the history of the eradication of Naxalism is written, the sacrifice, devotion, and hard work of our security forces will be inscribed in golden letters.

Shri Amit Shah also released the book ‘Leor Oyna’ in New Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The book is based on the lives of victims of Naxal violence. It will help in understanding the pain of those innocent and unarmed people who fell prey to the ruthless violence inflicted by Naxalites. It will also open the eyes of those who show sympathy towards Naxalites in the name of human rights and will be instrumental in exposing them.

Raipur 22 June 2025/Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, today laid the foundation stone of the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) and Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) campus in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and virtually inaugurated the temporary campus of NFSU Raipur. On this occasion, several dignitaries, including the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the Union Home Secretary, and the Director of the Intelligence Bureau, were present.

In his address, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah said that today is a very important day for Chhattisgarh's criminal justice system, as three new initiatives are being launched to modernize it. He said that these three initiatives will, in the coming days, serve as a foundation not only for Chhattisgarh but for the entire criminal justice system of central India.

Shri Amit Shah said that today also marks the inauguration of i-HUB in Chhattisgarh. He stated that as the youth of Chhattisgarh become MSME entrepreneurs and develop their own startups, it will create greater investment opportunities in the state and accelerate Chhattisgarh’s journey toward an industrial revolution. He added that with the launch of i-HUB, the youth of Chhattisgarh are getting a significant platform. Shri Shah mentioned that an NFSU campus is being established here at a cost of ₹145 crore and a CFSL facility at ₹123 crore, with a total investment of ₹268 crore. In this way, premier institutions of forensic science will now be set up in New Raipur. He further said that graduating from NFSU means a guaranteed job, and NFSU will contribute to Chhattisgarh’s progress in the fields of education and employment.

Union Home Minister said that this year marks the centenary year of former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and the entire credit for the creation of Chhattisgarh goes to the revered Atal Ji. He stated that after the formation of Chhattisgarh, the credit for its development goes entirely to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Shah mentioned that Chhattisgarh is celebrating its 25th foundation year, and the state government has decided to observe this year as the Atal Nirman Varsh. He also said that in the coming days, New Raipur will be counted among the most modern and green capitals of the country.

Shri Amit Shah said that the Chhattisgarh government has done commendable work to ensure full implementation of the three new criminal laws in the state. He said that once these new laws are fully enforced, justice—from the stage of filing of an FIR to the judgement of Supreme Court—will be accessible to the complainant and the victim within three years, regardless of where in the country the case is registered. The Home Minister added that after the complete implementation of the three new laws, India’s criminal justice system will become the most modern in the world, and we will enter an era of evidence-based criminal justice. Shri Shah said that the Modi government has worked to establish a modern, swift, and scientific justice system through these three new criminal laws. He further emphasized that Prime Minister Modi’s vision for a developed India by 2047 is not limited to infrastructure, industry, innovation, and economic growth—it also includes ensuring timely delivery of justice.

Union Home Minister said that accurate results are achieved only when there is scientific evidence, and with the help of Forensic Science Laboratories (FSLs), India will soon be among the leading countries in the world in terms of conviction rate. He stated that the Modi government has abolished 160-year-old colonial-era laws and introduced new criminal laws, under which the visit of a forensic science team has been made mandatory in all crimes punishable with more than seven years of imprisonment. This highlights the immense potential that exists in the field of forensic science in our country.

Shri Amit Shah said that since the establishment of NFSU, 16 campuses have been initiated in a very short time—7 of which are operational and 9 approved, with 10 additional campuses proposed. He said that the Modi government is planning to expand NFSU to 26 major locations across the country. Once these campuses are fully developed, India will produce 32,000 forensic experts every year in the coming years. The Home Minister also mentioned that, according to a survey, the global forensic technology market is currently valued at $20 billion and is projected to grow at a 13% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), reaching $55 billion by 2036. India is expected to hold a 9% share of this market.

Raipur, 22 June 2025/Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah today virtually inaugurated the temporary campus of the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) and the I-Hub Raipur, both situated in Nava Raipur. Speaking on the occasion, the Union Home Minister described it as a historic day in the journey to modernise and scientifically strengthen the criminal justice system of Chhattisgarh. Alongside the temporary campus of NFSU, the ground-breaking ceremony for the permanent campus and the foundation of a Central Forensic Science Laboratory were also initiated. These institutions are being developed at a total cost of Rs 268 crore.

Academic sessions at the temporary campus will commence from 2025–26, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Forensic Science, Cyber Security, Psychology, Digital Forensics, and various professional diploma courses. Approximately 180 students are expected to be enrolled in the first batch.

On the occasion, Shri Amit Shah said that the establishment of these institutions would not only benefit Chhattisgarh but also empower the entire central Indian region with a modern legal and investigative framework. Advanced forensic technologies such as DNA fingerprinting, LSD analysis, cyber security, biotechnology, and digital forensics will now be accessible locally, expediting and enhancing the accuracy of investigations. He further informed that there would no longer be a need to depend on Delhi or other metros for forensic examinations, as all such investigations will now be conducted at Atal Nagar, Nava Raipur.

Regarding the establishment of I-Hub Raipur, Union Home Minister said that this platform would serve as a vital support system for youth by promoting a startup culture, providing technical support, facilitating funding, and offering professional services such as marketing and contract management. He urged the youth to emerge as entrepreneurs, launch startups, and actively participate in the state’s industrial progress. Modelled after the successful Gujarat initiative, this I-Hub is expected to give rise to several global startups originating from Raipur.

Highlighting the industrial prospects, Shri Shah emphasized that after the formation of the new state government, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 5 lakh crore in investment proposals have been signed. This is expected to boost employment, state revenue, and foster an industrial culture. Lauding Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and Home Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, Shri Shah acknowledged their decisive leadership in intensifying anti-Naxal operations. For the first time, security forces are operating during the monsoon season, leaving no respite for the Naxalites. He made a heartfelt appeal to Naxalites to surrender and become a part of the state’s developmental journey.

Union Home Minister Shri Shah informed that the permanent campus of NFSU would be fully developed within three years, creating immense career opportunities for youth in the forensic sciences sector. He assured that a degree from NFSU under the Modi Government would be a guaranteed gateway to employment. Referring to the newly enacted criminal laws, Shri Shah said that objective of these laws is to ensure justice within three years and to establish a modern, evidence-based criminal justice system. He emphasized that forensic investigation has now been made mandatory for crimes attracting imprisonment of over seven years. All police stations are now integrated with the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS), enabling state governments to enhance their investigative and supervisory capacities through technology. These developments will not only reinforce the judicial process but also position India among the leading nations in science-based convictions.

Shri Shah further revealed that 16 campuses of NFSU have already been established across the country, with 10 more in the pipeline. Forensic technology will play a pivotal role in achieving the vision of a self-reliant India. Citing a recent survey, he projected that the global forensic technology market will reach USD 55 billion by 2026, and India’s share in the same is increasing rapidly.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai described the day as historic for Chhattisgarh, marking the foundation of three key institutions that will glorify the name of the state both nationally and internationally. He underlined that NFSU is the world’s first and only university dedicated entirely to the study of forensic science, cyber security, and behavioural sciences. The Raipur campus will establish Nava Raipur as an emerging national educational hub. This institution will serve as a strong foundation for law enforcement, judicial procedures, and forensic research not only in Chhattisgarh but across Central India.

Chief Minister Shri Sai shared that Chhattisgarh Government has allocated 40 acres of land at Banjari, Nava Raipur, for the university and played a vital role in the timely development of the transit campus. The campus will offer undergraduate, postgraduate, and short-term courses in subjects such as Forensic Science, Digital Forensics, and Psychology. Training in areas like cybercrime, road accident analysis, and narcotics investigation will significantly strengthen the state’s law and order mechanism.

Shri Sai mentioned that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, three new criminal laws have been implemented in the country after nearly a century. Institutions like NFSU will play a crucial role in the effective enforcement of these laws. The state government is committed to equipping its police forces and investigative agencies with the necessary training and resources, and a monitoring mechanism has been put in place for sustained oversight. 

Chief Minister also highlighted the launch of I-Hub Chhattisgarh, referring to it as a powerful medium to connect the youth with innovation and the startup ecosystem. It will house state-of-the-art co-working spaces that will nurture creativity and entrepreneurship.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma added that the Raipur campus of NFSU will not only serve as a training centre but also usher in revolutionary changes in forensic research and investigation. He emphasised that this institution will be a hub for academic learning, research, training, and consultancy. This institution will take a leading role in innovating and manufacturing forensic tools within India—a dream being realised under the guidance of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah. He added that land allocation for NFSU has been completed and construction will commence shortly. The campus will be equipped with all modern facilities and will train youth in Forensic Science, Digital Forensics, Psychology, and various short-term courses.

He further stated that the three newly enacted criminal laws—Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, and Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita—will require robust support from forensic systems for their effective implementation. Chhattisgarh is among the leading states where NFSU is being established, while states like Odisha, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Andhra Pradesh are yet to see similar developments—making it a matter of pride for the state. Shri Sharma also informed that the Centre has sanctioned Rs 24 crore to the state government for setting up mobile forensic units in all 33 districts. Each district will have mobile vehicles, modern equipment, and trained teams to facilitate accurate on-site investigations.

Raipur 21 June 2025/Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today performed yoga with thousands of people in the International Yoga Day program organized at Jashpur district headquarters and wished everyone.He said that Yoga is not a new method but an integral part of our ancient Sanatan tradition which was developed by Rishis and Munis. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi presented Yoga on the global platform in the United Nations General Assembly in 2014,As a result, since 2015, every year 21st June is being celebrated as International Yoga Day across the world. It is a matter of pride for us that today the echo of yoga is heard in more than 175 countries.

Along with the Chief Minister, public representatives, school students, officers, employees and common citizens enthusiastically participated in the yoga practice. Yoga instructors made the participants practice various asanas including Chakrasana, Ardhachakrasana, Kapalbhati, Anulom-Vilom, Pranayama, Vajrasana.Chief Minister Shri Sai said that some time must be taken out from 24 hours of the day for yoga. This not only cures serious diseases but also reduces the chances of diseases in future. Emphasizing on the use of generic medicines, he said that these medicines are effective, accessible and affordable.Appreciating the large number of participation of school children, the Chief Minister said that Yoga calms the mind of children and helps them concentrate on studies.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the Nalanda campus. 500 students will be able to study simultaneously in this campus which will be built on 2 acres at a cost of Rs 11.29 crore.An attractive garden will also be developed in the campus. He said that this will be of special benefit to rural and economically weaker students. Today, students from rural areas are also becoming aware and achieving success in competitive examinations.Therefore, the state government has decided to establish Nalanda campus in all the district headquarters and big cities.

The Chief Minister performed the ground breaking and inauguration of 64 works worth Rs 107.81 crore.

Chief Minister Shri Sai has said that yoga is considered to be the best means of maintaining physical, mental and spiritual health.This is an ancient tradition of India. Our sages and saints knew its importance long ago. Now the whole world is understanding the importance of yoga. Chief Minister Shri Sai has said that yoga is basically a process of purifying the body, mind and soul.Yoga is a way of living a healthy, stress-free and disciplined life. He said that everyone should practice yoga for a fit and healthy life. Shri Sai said that yoga has a very positive effect on the development of physical energy, health and immunity.He has appealed to people to spread yoga to the masses and make it a part of their lifestyle.

Raipur, 19 June 2025/A delegation of the Gonchha Mahaparv Organizing Committee led by Jagdalpur MLA Shri Kiran Dev paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai at his residence tonight.The delegation invited the Chief Minister to participate in the Gocha Mahaparva organised at the divisional headquarters Jagdalpur. He said that this festival which has been celebrated continuously for more than six hundred years is a symbol of social harmony and love in Bastar.

After Bastar Dussehra, this festival, which is the longest festival, has started with Chandan Yatra on June 11. Representatives informed that as part of the festival, Netrotsav Puja will be organized on June 26 and Shri Gonchha Rath Yatra will be organized on June 27.The grand festival will conclude with the Bahuda Gonchha Rath Yatra on July 5. On this occasion, the delegation honoured Chief Minister Shri Sai by presenting him 'Tupki' as per the tradition of Bastar.

Jashpurnagar : An important religious event was held in Dokra village of Kansabel development block on Sunday. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai's wife Kaushalya Sai participated in the idol installation festival in the newly built Sri Jagannath temple.The priests duly worshipped the idols of Lord Jagannath Mahaprabhu, Subhadra and Balram ji and brought them into the temple. On this occasion, Smt. Kaushalya Sai duly worshipped Lord Jagannath and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state.

After the Pratima Pravesh Utsav, the Kalash Yatra started on the evening of 25 May, which started from the Shiva temple here and reached the Sri Jagannath temple premises. Kaushalya Sai specially participated in the second day's worship.It is noteworthy that the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath is being taken out in Dokra since 1942. The Rath Yatra was started by the late Pandit Sudarshan Satpathy and his wife Sushila Satpathy of Dokra village. The temple was built in 1968.Due to the dilapidated condition of the temple, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and his wife Kaushalya Sai had resolved last year that they would renovate the temple and build a newly constructed building for the Lord Jagannath Temple, and the Chief Minister's resolution has been fulfilled.Its founders were Late Sudarshan Satpathy and his wife Late Sushila Satpathy. The foundation stone of this Sri Jagannath temple was laid in 2019. The Chief Minister of the state Shri Vishnudev Sai and his wife Smt. Kaushalya Sai had pledged to build this temple.On Sunday, Lord Shri Jagannath Swami, Subhadra Maa, Balabhadra Swami ji entered the temple, on this occasion Chief Minister's wife Mrs. Kaushalya Sai participated, 24 hours Hari Kirtan Naam Yagya will start from tomorrow.On May 24, Yagya Havan will be held, on May 25, Shri Jagannath, Balabhadra, Subhadra's temple entry, evening Kalash Yatra will be held and on May 27, Poornahuti and Dadhibhanjan, city tour, presentation of Odisha bhajans and distribution of Mahaprasad will be held.Through this event, religious and cultural consciousness in Dokra has got new energy, due to which the traditions and faith of the region have become even stronger.

Jashpurnagar: Summer camps are being organised for the children of the district under the joint aegis of the district administration and education department. Where the intellectual development of the children is being done by involving them in various activities.In this connection, the children were taken on a tour of the Collectorate office yesterday and were also informed about the work of the district administration. The children visited with enthusiasm and enjoyed it.

It is noteworthy that in the summer camp, children are also being provided with activities like swimming, archery, cricket, dance, music, painting, carrom, chess, badminton, handicrafts, etc. Children are enjoying the summer camp by participating in these activities according to their skills and interests.School teachers and children were present on this occasion.

Apart from these various activities of the summer camp, the children are also being given exposure visits to the important historical and archaeological sites of the district.

Jashpurnagar । As per the wishes of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, people in the district are being continuously benefited from government schemes.In this connection, farmer Samli Ram of Birimdega has been benefited by the Krishak Samriddhi Yojana by the Agriculture Department and peanut seeds have been provided to him under the National Edible Oil Mission Oilseeds Scheme.

Farmer Mr. Samli Ram told that he is a resident of village Birimdega development block Pathalgav. He has a total of 2.000 hectares of land in which he cultivates paddy in Kharif season and did not cultivate in Rabi season due to lack of irrigation facilities.He told that he contacted the rural agriculture extension officer of the area, Mr. Ujit Pankra and he gave information about various schemes of the agriculture department. Under the Krishak Samridhi Yojana run by the agriculture department, he got a tube well dug and used to cultivate paddy through tube well even during the Rabi season.Due to which they did not get a satisfactory income. During this time, the Rural Agriculture Extension Officer encouraged them to cultivate other crops in place of paddy under the Pulses, Oilseeds and Maize Promotion Scheme and summer groundnut crop.Under the National Edible Oil Mission Oilseeds Scheme, peanut seeds were taken from the Agriculture Department and now the peanut crop has been cultivated, the yield of which has been good and looking at the fertility, there is a possibility of getting good income.The farmer expressed his happiness over the good production due to proper guidance and thanked Chief Minister Shri Sai and the district administration.

Jashpur: On Saturday, 88 pregnant women were tested for health under the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan at Community Health Centre Kansabel.Also, health check-up of 16 high-risk pregnant women was done. The pregnant women were also advised on proper diet, taking medicines on time and getting regular health check-ups done.

It is noteworthy that on Saturday, under the Prime Minister's Safe Motherhood Campaign, health check-up of pregnant mothers was done in the health centers of all the development blocks of the district and free medicines were also distributed.Sector meeting in the presence of District Program Manager Jashpur, all high risk pregnant mothers of Kansabel area are to be kept under regular surveillance. Along with this, instructions have been given to keep in constant touch with them and provide health advice.

Raipur 25 May 2025/ Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi again mentioned the achievements of Dantewada district in the 122nd episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' today. 

Prime Minister Shri Modi said that in Mann Ki Baat we have already discussed Bastar Olympics and science labs in Maoist affected areas.The children here have a passion for science. They are also excelling in sports. Such efforts show how courageous the people living in these areas are. They have chosen the path of improving their lives amidst so many challenges.I am very happy to know that Dantewada district has got excellent results in 10th and 12th examinations. With around 95% marks, this district topped the results of 10th. In the 12th examination, it secured the sixth position in Chhattisgarh.Just imagine, the Dantewada district where Maoism was once at its peak, is today flying high on the education front. Such changes fill us all with pride.

New Delhi :  Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today outlined the state’s bold long-term development vision at the 10th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog, highlighting Bastar’s remarkable transformation. He noted that the region, once synonymous with Naxal violence, is now emerging as a national model of development, employment generation, and self-reliance.

During the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai presented a visionary plan to transform Chhattisgarh into a Rs 75 lakh crore economy by the year 2047. This ambitious goal is to be achieved through the 3T Model: Technology, Transparency, and Transformation. The Chief Minister also emphasized that this plan aims to increase the state’s per capita income by ten times and added that the state government aims at doubling the state's GSDP in the next five years.

As part of this long-term development agenda, the government has prepared a comprehensive strategy named the ‘Chhattisgarh Anjor Vision Document’, which outlines integrated plans for economic growth, social progress, and environmental sustainability.

He emphasized that the state administration is evolving into a more tech-enabled, transparent, and efficient system, with every government scheme being digitally tracked to guarantee timely and effective service delivery to citizens.

The Chief Minister affirmed that this model would not only elevate Chhattisgarh into the league of developed Indian states but also play a key role in advancing India’s broader goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047. 

To drive the mission forward, the state has prioritized 13 key sectors including education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, IT, tourism, and skill development. Ten focused missions have been launched for effective implementation in these areas.

Emphasising on Bastar’s transformation, the Chief Minister said now emerging as a region full of opportunities. He shared that skill development centers have been established in Bastar and 32 surrounding blocks, where local youth are receiving training in fields such as computer literacy, healthcare, food processing, and technical trades. "Today, children who once gathered firewood in the forests are learning to operate machines and use laptops," he remarked.

He further highlighted the surge in investments flowing into the region, noting that the establishment of the country's first semiconductor unit and an AI data center in Nava Raipur is creating new avenues of employment for the youth of Bastar and the entire state. "Bastar is now poised to become a hub for 'Make in India' - a place where innovation, industry, and opportunity converge," the Chief Minister added.

Addressing the issue of Naxalism, the Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s resolve to make Chhattisgarh completely Naxal-free by March 2026. He noted that comprehensive rehabilitation, skill training, and self-employment programs are being rolled out for surrendered Naxals. 

In Bastar, tribal communities are now gaining access to markets, training, and entrepreneurship opportunities, with local products driving new avenues for livelihood. Significantly, Bastar’s Dhudmaras village has earned international recognition, being named one of the “Best Tourism Villages” by the United Nations.

The Chief Minister underscored significant strides in infrastructure development, noting that the state’s railway network is being expanded from 1,100 km to 2,200 km, while more than Rs 21,000 crore has been invested in upgrading national highways. With the introduction of cargo services at Raipur Airport, Chhattisgarh is now on track to emerge as a key logistics hub in the region.

He emphasized that the state is rich in mineral resources such as steel, coal, dolomite, and lithium. The state plans to boost its steel production capacity from 28 to 45 million tonnes by 2030 and also scale up power generation to become the first in the country. Chhattisgarh has become the first state in the country to successfully auction a lithium block, an essential resource for electric vehicles and the green energy transition.

Chief Minister Sai informed that the state has introduced more than 350 policy reforms to improve governance. Among these, land registrations can now be conveniently completed online for a nominal fee of just Rs 500. Additionally, the new Industrial Policy provides special incentives to encourage the establishment of play schools, hospitals, and colleges in rural communities.

The meeting held at Bharat Mandapam, carrying the central theme: “Viksit Rajya, Viksit Bharat @2047” was attended by the Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of various states, Lieutenant Governors of Union Territories, Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, members of the Governing Council.

*Key Highlights from Chhattisgarh’s Roadmap presented at NITI Aayog:*

1. Chhattisgarh – The Backbone of India’s Energy and Industry: The state is a major supplier of coal, steel, and cement, powering homes and industries across the country, reinforcing India’s overall development and industrial growth.

2. Agriculture and Forests – Boosting Rural Livelihoods: Significant advancements in farming, fisheries, and forest-based produce are increasing incomes for farmers and tribal communities, promoting rural prosperity and self-reliance.

3. A New Chapter in Tribal Rights: Simplified land ownership rights for tribal families enhance their security and dignity, marking a crucial step toward social justice.

4. Tourism – Bringing New Hope to Rural Villages: The HHH Model - Hospitality, Housing, and Handicrafts - will create employment opportunities for rural women and artisans, fuelling economic growth and elevates Chhattisgarh’s cultural presence globally.

5. Digital Governance for Speed and Transparency: Adopting the 3T Model (Technology, Transparency, Transformation) has made government services faster, cleaner, and more accountable, building public trust and curbs corruption.

6. Policy Leadership from a Resource-Rich State: Chhattisgarh is emerging as a frontrunner in governance and reform, aligning with PM Modi’s vision of “Minimum Government, Maximum Governance.” Over 350 reforms have been implemented.

7. Enhanced Connectivity via Roads and Air: With an investment of Rs 21,380 crore in national highways and the expansion of Jagdalpur, Bilaspur, and Ambikapur airports, the state is now better connected to the nation and the world.

8. Railway Expansion Revolution: In the past 161 years, only 1,100 km of rail lines were laid. Under PM Modi’s leadership, this is set to double to 2,200 km by 2030.

Raipur 25 May 2025: Citizens aged 70 years and above are getting free treatment under the PM Ayushman Vaya-Vandana Yojana launched for senior citizens by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.In Chhattisgarh, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and guidance of Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Ayushman Vaya-Vandana cards have been made for more than 3 lakh 60 thousand senior citizens of the state who are 70 years and above.

Due to this, Chhattisgarh has reached the fifth position in the country in terms of making Vaya Vandana cards. In this case, the state has created a record by surpassing states like Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Odisha and Bihar.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Ayushman Vaya-Vandana cards are being made continuously by running special campaigns in all the districts of the state. So that no eligible senior citizen is deprived of the benefit of free treatment under the scheme.

In addition to various government departments, camps are being organized for Ayushman Vaya-Vandana registration in the districts by continuously contacting social organizations, pensioner associations, Shiyan-Sadan, senior-citizen welfare associations, old-age homes, private residential societies, etc.

Raipur: Today I met the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. I also had a brief discussion with the Prime Minister.

I am attending the meeting of NITI Aayog chaired by the Prime Minister here.In the meeting, we are presenting the development plans of Chhattisgarh, the policies of the state government for the end of Naxalism and the inclusive development of other regions including Bastar. Along with this, the new industrial policy of the state, investment promotion and possibilities of industrial opportunities are also being discussed.The Chhattisgarh government is fully committed to taking the state to new heights of progress and prosperity by giving priority to security and development in the state. It is our resolve that Chhattisgarh will play a leading role in realizing the dream of developed India of the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

रायपुर, 23 मई 2025// मुख्यमंत्री श्री विष्णु देव साय ने आज राजधानी रायपुर के सड्डू स्थित आईटीएसए हॉस्पिटल का विधिवत उद्घाटन किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने राजधानी वासियों और अस्पताल प्रबंधन को बधाई और शुभकामनाएं दी। 

        मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि 350 बिस्तरों की क्षमता वाले इस मल्टीस्पेशलिटी, पीडियाट्रिक और वेलनेस सेंटर से न केवल राजधानी रायपुर बल्कि पूरे प्रदेश के लोगों को अत्याधुनिक और गुणवत्तापूर्ण चिकित्सा सुविधाएँ मिलेंगी।उन्होंने बताया कि पिछले सत्रह महीनों में छत्तीसगढ़ में स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं के क्षेत्र में तीव्र गति से विकास हो रहा है। सरकार द्वारा नवा रायपुर अटल नगर में मेडिसिटी परियोजना की शुरुआत की गई है, जो भविष्य में 5 हजार बिस्तरों वाले मेडिकल हब के रूप में विकसित होगी। इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने चिकित्सकों और मेडिकल स्टाफ से चर्चा कर अस्पताल में उपलब्ध सुविधाओं और विभिन्न विषयों पर जानकारी ली।

रायपुर, 23 मई 2025/ मुख्यमंत्री श्री विष्णु देव साय ने बीजापुर जिले के उसूर क्षेत्र में नक्सल विरोधी अभियान के दौरान अदम्य साहस का परिचय देते हुए शहीद सीआरपीएफ कोबरा बटालियन के कांस्टेबल श्री सोलंकी मेहुल भाई नंदलाल को भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की और पार्थिव शरीर को कंधा देकर उनके गृह राज्य रवानगी से पूर्व अंतिम विदाई दी। मुख्यमंत्री आज माना स्थित चौथी वाहिनी छत्तीसगढ़ सशस्त्र बल परिसर पहुंचकर शहीद के पार्थिव शरीर पर पुष्पचक्र अर्पित किए और उन्हें नमन किया।  

मुख्यमंत्री श्री साय इस मौके पर शहीद के परिजनों के प्रति अपनी संवेदनाएं व्यक्त की और ईश्वर से उन्हें इस कठिन समय में शक्ति प्रदान करने की प्रार्थना की। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि शहीद मेहुल भाई की वीरता और देशभक्ति हमेशा याद रखी जाएगी। मुख्यमंत्री श्री साय ने कहा कि पिछले एक वर्ष से नक्सल विरोधी अभियान तेज हुई है और हमारे जवानों ने नक्सलवाद से डटकर मुकाबला कर बड़ी सफलताएं हासिल की है। उन्होंने कहा कि मार्च 2026 तक नक्सलवाद के समूल नाश का अपना संकल्प हम पूरा करेंगे। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जवानों की शहादत व्यर्थ नहीं जाएगी। सरकार शहीद परिवार के साथ खड़ी है और उन्हें हर संभव सहयोग करेगी। कांस्टेबल सोलंकी मेहुल भाई का बलिदान वीरता और राष्ट्र के प्रति समर्पण की सर्वोच्च परंपरा को दर्शाता है।
