Mr. Nitin Verma, who took advantage of NHAI's 1033 service, says, "I was traveling on the Raipur-Bilaspur National Highway. Around 2 p.m., my car met with an accident on the highway. Heavy truck tyre bursts in the dead of night, 1033 provides relief

Truck driver Mr. Gurdeep Singh shares his experience, “It was around 9:45 pm. I was driving my heavy truck from Raipur to Bilaspur. Suddenly, with a loud noise, the truck's tire burst. The heavy vehicle, combined with the silence of the night, was a major challenge in parking the truck on the side of the highway and finding help. I wasted no time and called 1033. The NHAI team immediately traced my location, and the highway patrol team arrived at the scene. The team not only arranged for a crane and technical assistance, but also ensured security until the work was completed, to prevent another major accident.”

When the wheel got jammed, the patrolling team extended a helping hand.

Mr. S.P. Choubey, a passenger on the Bilaspur-Nagpur route, said, "We were traveling in our car when suddenly it got a puncture. When it came time to change the spare tire, a new problem arose. The tire hadn't been opened in a long time, so it was jammed. My driver, drenched in sweat, tried unsuccessfully to open it, but it wouldn't budge. A passing 1033 Route Patrol Vehicle (RPV) team witnessed our car parked on the side of the highway and the driver's struggle.

The team members immediately stopped by our side. They not only retrieved the necessary heavy tools from their vehicle, but also personally unscrewed the jammed wheel, replaced the tire, and got our vehicle moving. Their warmth and promptness won our hearts.
