Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw admitted the children to school by applying tilak on their foreheads during the school admission ceremony.
Raipur: To increase awareness about education and instill enthusiasm in children for school, a district-level school admission festival was organized today in Berla, Bemetara district. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao attended the event held in the market yard of Berla as the chief guest. He affectionately welcomed the students into the school by applying tilak and offering them sweets. He wished all the children a bright future.

Intimate conversation with children

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Saw welcomed the children by enrolling them in school. He applied tilak to the foreheads of students enrolled in various classes, including first, and distributed books, stationery, and school uniforms. He also affectionately posed for photographs with the children and interacted with them.
Addressing the children at the school entrance ceremony, Mr. Saw said, "You are the future of India. The responsibility of taking the country forward will rest on your shoulders in the future. Therefore, study diligently, maintain discipline, and dream big." He also appealed to parents to send their children to school regularly and make education a top priority.
Education is the foundation of development
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working in the field of education. The goal of the Shala Pravesh Utsav is to ensure that no child is deprived of education. Children are being provided with a better environment through schemes such as basic facilities, smart classes, midday meals, and scholarships in schools. He also praised the role of teachers, saying that only a good teacher can shape good citizens. Mr. Saw urged students not to be discouraged or disheartened by failure in life. They should set a goal in life and move forward towards success.

Gifting bicycles to girls
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Saw distributed bicycles to 20 girls. The girls' faces were filled with smiles after receiving them under the Saraswati Cycle Scheme. The bicycles will facilitate their easy commuting to school.
Meritorious students were honored
On this occasion, students who scored the highest marks in the district's board exams were honored with certificates. Students selected for Navodaya Vidyalayas were also honored.
