14 health institutions in Chhattisgarh receive NQAS certificates for excellence in healthcare services : Health Minister congratulates, highlights continuous improvement in health facilities Under Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s leadership

Union Health Ministry team evaluated hospitals in October and November

Raipur ред A total of 14 government hospitals in Chhattisgarh, recognized for providing excellent healthcare services and quality treatment to patients, have been awarded the National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS) certificate by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. These include 10 Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub-Health Centers, three Primary Health Centers, and one Urban Primary Health Center. The NQAS certificate was issued by a team of experts from the Union Health Ministry after evaluating the quality of services offered in these hospitals during October and November.

State Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal congratulated the health centers for meeting the quality assurance standards. He stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, healthcare facilities in the state have been consistently improving. As a result, 14 government hospitals have earned the prestigious National Quality Assurance Standard Certificate from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare assessed the performance of these health centers across various districts. In *Mahasamund* district, Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub-Health Center Bhadrasi scored 91.29%, Bade Temri 90.27%, Jhalap 91.93%, and Nayapara Urban Primary Health Center 88.89%. In *Surajpur*, Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub-Health Center Navaparakala scored 76.09%, and Dharampur 87.75%. The *Kanker* district centers performed notably, with Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub-Health Center Musarpatta scoring 94.2%, P.V.89 85.58%, Kodagaon 93.36%, and Makrikhuna 81.54%. In *Balodabazar*, Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub-Health Center Thelki scored 86.83%, while in *Raigarh*, Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub-Health Center Chharratanagar scored 82.39%. The *Bastar* district's Jamawada center scored 88.99%, and in *Raipur*, Siliyari center achieved 88.15%.

Before issuing the National Quality Assurance Standard Certificate, a team of experts from the Government of India conducted a thorough evaluation of the hospitals' services and patient satisfaction levels. The assessment was based on various parameters, including the availability of services, patients' rights, inputs, support services, clinical services, infection control, quality management, and outcomes. Only hospitals meeting these stringent criteria are granted quality certification by the Union Health Ministry.
