The Governor paid tribute to former Prime Minister Vajpayee and Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya on their birthdays.

Raipur. Governor Ramen Deka paid tribute to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya on their birth anniversaries. At a ceremony held at Lok Bhavan, the Governor paid homage to Shri Vajpayee and Malaviya by offering flowers in front of their photographs.
The Governor said that Vajpayee was a great politician, a powerful orator, a poet, and a multifaceted personality. Shri Vajpayee's birthday is also celebrated as Good Governance Day. Extending his greetings on Good Governance Day, Deka urged us to pledge to embody Shri Vajpayee's ideals in our lives. Deka said that Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, with his indomitable will and tireless efforts, established Banaras Hindu University and made invaluable contributions to the field of education. His ideals and character are inspiring to all of us. On this occasion, officials and employees of the Raj Bhavan also paid tribute by offering flowers.
