Raipur -  A powerful glimpse of India's cultural diversity was on display in Dublin, the capital of Ireland, when the Embassy of India, Dublin, successfully organized a grand cultural event focusing on the state of Chhattisgarh as part of the State Cultural Event Series. Members of the Indian community living in Ireland also participated enthusiastically in the event.

The event was inaugurated by Shri Akhilesh Mishra, Ambassador of India to Ireland. Highlighting Chhattisgarh's rich cultural heritage, tribal traditions, and the state's unique identity, he said that such events powerfully showcase India's diversity on the global stage.

During the event, a detailed presentation on Chhattisgarh was presented, effectively showcasing the state's art, culture, traditions, and development journey. The exhibition of Chhattisgarh's traditional handicrafts particularly attracted visitors, who appreciated the intricacy and beauty of the state's craftsmanship.

The cultural program included folk dances and cultural performances presented in traditional costumes. The artists' vibrant performances brought the soul of Chhattisgarh's folk culture to the Irish soil and received overwhelming praise from the audience.

 The event concluded with a traditional Chhattisgarhi cuisine, introducing the guests to the state's delicious culinary traditions. Overall, the event proved to be a significant initiative towards establishing Chhattisgarh's art, culture, and identity on the international stage.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that the Chhattisgarh-focused cultural program held in Dublin, the capital of Ireland, has given Chhattisgarh's rich art, culture, and traditions a new identity on the international stage. Calling it a proud moment for Chhattisgarh, he said that the state's folk culture is now reaching a global audience.

Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that this event, organized by the Indian Embassy, ​​Dublin, as part of the State Cultural Event Series, powerfully showcases India's cultural diversity and the spirit of "Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat." He commended the Indian Embassy and the Indian community in Ireland for organizing this event.

Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that Chhattisgarh's tribal art, handicrafts, and folk traditions are fundamental to the state's identity. Through this event held in Ireland, Chhattisgarh's handicrafts, traditional costumes, and cultural presentations were appreciated by an international audience, which is inspiring for the state's artists and artisans. He added that such cultural events also provide new opportunities for tourism, handicrafts, and local products on a global scale.
