Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, focused on women's economic empowerment, is becoming a powerful example of social and economic change across the state. The monthly financial assistance directly deposited into bank accounts is empowering women, strengthening their respect and participation in their families and society. Along with providing financial support, this scheme is also strengthening women's self-confidence, security, and self-reliance.
The positive impact of the scheme is clearly visible in various districts of the state. Mrs. Bahura Kaushik, a homemaker from the Rampur area of Korba district, and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Savita Kaushik, are beneficiaries of this scheme. Both have received a total of 24,000 rupees in 24 installments under the scheme, which has significantly supported their household needs and children's education.
Mrs. Savita Kaushik said that the timely monthly payment has made it possible to manage household expenses systematically and not have to depend on anyone in times of need. Mrs. Bahura Kaushik also said that this government initiative has proved to be a great relief for women, further strengthening the feeling of cooperation, respect and self-confidence in the family. She expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai and Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade.
