Kabirpanth has a wide impact on the life of people in Chhattisgarh: Chief Minister Sai
Raipur . Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai stated that Chhattisgarh is rapidly progressing towards becoming a developed state. He stated that Chhattisgarh must be taken much further and established as a developed state. He announced an increase in the funding for the Sant Sammelan ceremony in Damakheda from Rs. 50 lakh to Rs. 75 lakh.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai yesterday on Sunday attended the Satguru Kabir Sant Sammelan ceremony organized on the occasion of Magh Purnima at Kabir Dharam Nagar Damakheda. On this occasion, he took blessings from Panth Shri Udit Muni Nam Saheb, Panth Shri Prakash Muni Nam Saheb by presenting them Chadar Shriphal and wished for the prosperity of the state. While extending the best wishes of Magh Purnima, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that the Sant Sammelan ceremony of Kabir Dharam Nagar Damakheda is becoming grander every year which is a symbol of increasing faith among the people
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Kabir Panth has a wide influence on the life of people in Chhattisgarh, hence the people here are peace loving. He said that he is familiar with Kabir Panth since childhood and there are 8-10 Kabir Panthi families in his village Bagiya also. Regarding renaming Damakheda as Kabir Dharamnagar, he said that the final process for publication in the gazette is underway. Shri Sai said that people are getting direct benefits from the double engine government. Now the Chief Minister said that Naxalism, which was an obstacle to the development of Chhattisgarh, is going to be eradicated soon. Naxalism will be completely eradicated from the state by March 31, 2026. We have rapidly fulfilled the promise made to the people.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma said that the Chadar Tilak ceremony of Panth Shri Udit Muni Naam Saheb was amazing and supernatural. Panth Shri is working in the fields of tree plantation, social service, de-addiction and youth upliftment. He took blessings for the happiness and prosperity of the state by visiting Panth Shri. He said that Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai is always concerned about the various development works of Kabir Ashram and gives instructions to complete them soon. Food Minister Mr. Dayal Das Baghel and Bhatapara MLA Mr. Indra Sao also addressed the program.
At the ceremony, Panthshree Prakash Muni Nam Saheb extended a warm welcome to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai on behalf of the Kabirpanthi community. He said that on the occasion of Basant Panchami, the first day of the Magh Mela this year, the Chadar Tilak ceremony of the new leader of the Kabir Panth, the 16th Vanshacharya of the Panth, Shri Udit Muni Nam Saheb, was held. He informed that this year, Kabirpanthi saints from various states of the country as well as from abroad have come to the Samagam Mela. The ceremony received full support from the government administration. On this occasion, Panthshree Udit Muni Nam Saheb, Gurugosai Bhanu Pratap Saheb, MLA Mrs. Bhavana Bohra, Shri Ishwar Sahu, former MP Shri Abhishek Singh, former MLA Shivratan Sharma, representatives of the Sadguru Kabir Dharamdas Saheb Vanshva Pratinidhi Sabha, officers, employees and a large number of Kabirpanth followers were present.
