Raipur - Union Minister for Power, Housing and Urban Affairs, Mr. Manohar Lal, described the Union Budget as a vehicle for innovation and inclusive development, saying it is a powerful document that realizes the long-term vision of a developed India by 2047. He was addressing a press conference during his day-long visit to the capital, Raipur. Union Minister Mr. Lal stated that this budget sets a clear direction for the country's economic, social, and infrastructure development for the next 25 years. He stated that this budget has been prepared for the first time in Kartavya Bhavan, which symbolizes a positive change in governance. The budget also incorporates the report of the 16th Finance Commission, which will give new impetus to the state's development in the coming years. Mr. Manohar Lal expressed confidence that effective implementation of budget provisions will lead to significant progress in the power, housing, urban development, and infrastructure sectors. He stated that the Central Government is fully sensitive and committed to the all-round development of Chhattisgarh. Present at the press conference were Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Mr. Tokhan Sahu, and State Finance Minister, Mr. O.P. Chaudhary, MP Shri Santosh Pandey and Shri Brijmohan Agarwal along with other public representatives were present.
