Raipur - Under the Prime Minister's PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, rural and urban areas across the state are rapidly becoming illuminated. Mr. Manoj Vishwas, a resident of Silfili in Surajpur district, has become a successful beneficiary of the scheme, becoming an inspiration for others. By installing solar panels on his rooftop, Mr. Vishwas has not only achieved significant savings on his electricity bills but is also contributing to environmental protection through clean energy production. It is noteworthy that Surajpur district is receiving a large number of applications under the PM Surya Ghar Scheme, reflecting the awareness and trust among the public. For the effective implementation of the scheme, 25 active vendors are operating in the district, ensuring a smooth process from application to solar rooftop installation. Inspired by the success of beneficiary Mr. Manoj Vishwas, other citizens are also joining the scheme. This scheme is becoming an effective public movement towards economic relief, energy self-sufficiency, and environmental protection.
