Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated a blood donation camp organized at the Chief Minister's residence in Raipur, on the occasion of his 62nd birthday. On this occasion, he worshipped Lord Dhanvantari and honored and encouraged blood donors. On the occasion of the Chief Minister's 62nd birthday, special arrangements were made by the Alpha Globe Foundation, Raipur, and Shivnath Blood Center for blood donation by 62 people. Chief Minister Shri Sai stated on this occasion that blood donation is a great donation and a true service to humanity. He added that blood donation brings new hope to patients during accidents, childbirth, and serious illnesses. He added that blood donors were also provided certificates at the camp, enabling them or their family members to obtain free blood if needed. It is noteworthy that the organization has pledged to collect approximately 11,000 units of blood annually and will coordinate with various blood banks to provide free blood to those in need. A safe traffic awareness campaign was also organized on this occasion. Chief Minister Shri Sai appealed to the youth to donate blood at least once a year and to ensure life safety by following road traffic rules at all times. Expressing gratitude to all the blood donors, organizers, medical team and health department, he wished the camp a success. Present on the occasion were Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav, CGMSC Chairman Shri Deepak Mhaske, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Chairman Shri Neelu Sharma, Chief Minister's Secretary Shri Rahul Bhagat, Chief Minister's Secretary Shri P. Dayanand, Chief Minister's Secretary Dr. Basavaraju S, senior officials, public representatives, Dr. Poonam Agarwal, Director of Alpha Globe Foundation, Raipur, other representatives of the organization and blood donors.
