Raipur. Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao described the budget as focused on good governance, infrastructure, and technology. He stated that the theme of the first year of the Sao government's budget was Gyan (the poor, the youth, the food providers, and the women). Following the strategy of Gati (good governance, accelerating infrastructure, technology, and industrial growth) from last year's budget, the budget has been integrated into the concept of Sankalp (inclusive development, infrastructure, investment, skilled human resources, Antyodaya, livelihood, from policy to results). Mr. Sao stated that this year's budget for public works has been allocated ₹9,451 crore. Additionally, a provision of ₹3,000 crore has been made for the Jal Jeevan Mission. He added that ₹200 crore has been allocated for the Chief Minister's Adarsh ​​Shahar Samriddhi Yojana, which will improve basic infrastructure, civic services, and sanitation in municipalities and town councils. Describing the 30-fold increase in the budget over the past 25 years as historic, Mr. Saw said it would lay the foundation for a bright future through increased school enrollment and digital learning. Meaningful work will be done toward road network expansion and modern urban planning. He thanked Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and Finance Minister OP Choudhary for this historic budget.
