The Governor praised the work of Shakuntala Foundation.

Raipur . Smita Singh, founder of the Shakuntala Foundation, Chhattisgarh, paid a courtesy call on Governor Raman Deka. During the visit, she detailed the social work being carried out by her organization.

Smita Singh explained that her organization is supporting the treatment of economically disadvantaged pediatric heart patients through the Chief Minister's Special Assistance Fund. She expressed her gratitude to the state government for this life-saving initiative. She also praised the government's efforts towards the Naxal-free Chhattisgarh campaign.
Smita Singh, a resident of Bastar, briefed the Governor on the situation in Naxal-affected areas, stating that her organization is also providing service there. She explained that efforts are being made to bring positive change to the lives of people in these areas through health, education, and social awareness.
Governor Raman Deka praised the organization's work, particularly its efforts for pediatric heart patients. He assured the state government that it stands behind such social service efforts and will provide all possible support.Organization members Govind Agarwal, Amar Gurnani and Sanjana Singh were also present on this occasion.
