Rule of law prevails in Chhattisgarh, no one is afraid of threats from Congress leaders.
Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said today that the attitude adopted by the Congress party during the BJP's siege of the state Congress office was very unfortunate. It is unclear in which direction the Congress party is headed; in desperation at being out of power, it has resorted to misconduct.
Saw said that when they are in government, they abuse power. Yesterday, during the Bharatiya Janata Party's protest, Congressmen brandished sticks and shouted slogans. What were they trying to convey by doing this? He said, they call their leader a brave man. They call a leader who acts beyond accepted traditions, law and order, and the Constitution a brave man. They were trying to show that bravery and now they are threatening the police administration.
Saw said, "During the Surajpur incident, their leaders threatened the police, and what are they trying to prove by threatening again? No one is going to be intimidated by their threats. The law is equal for all. Everyone should behave according to the law. But it is unfortunate that Congress neither respects the Constitution nor the law. It is trying to create anarchy in the country."
