A strong nation is built only through education; set big goals and study with full dedication: Minister Tank Ram Verma

Dhamtari organized a district-level "School Entrance Festival"; newly admitted children received a warm welcome.

Raipur, July 2026/ On the occasion of the commencement of the new academic session, a district level 'Shala Praveshotsav' was organised at Maratha Mangal Bhawan in Dhamtari. The newly admitted students were given an emotional and cordial welcome by applying tilak and showering flowers. The Minister in charge of the district, Mr. Verma, provided free textbooks and school uniforms to the students. Bicycles were distributed to girl students under the Saraswati Cycle Scheme. Distributed necessary assistive kits to disabled students to boost their confidence. Similarly, talented students who excelled in academic, sports, cultural and co-curricular activities were honoured.

District-in-charge Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma said that education is the most powerful medium for building individuals, society, and nations. Today's students will become tomorrow's scientists, teachers, doctors, and nation-builders. To inspire the students, he shared an inspiring story about a saint and three laborers. He explained how a laborer's positive thinking and clear goal transformed a simple stone-breaking task into a great national service like dam construction. He said that work is accomplished not just by hands, but by purpose and thought. Minister Shri Verma urged students to pledge to serve society through knowledge and values, not just by scoring marks.

Participation in tree plantation and 'Nyota Bhojan'

Minister Shri Verma spread the message of environmental protection by planting trees in the Nutan Vidyalaya campus. He said that planting trees is a responsibility to ensure a secure future for future generations. At the end of the program, he sat with the children and shared a "Nyota Bhojan," which instilled a sense of belonging and enthusiasm among the students toward the school.

child should be deprived of education.

The Minister in charge of the district, Mr. Verma, said that the state government is committed to providing quality education to the last person in the state through digital education, strong infrastructure, scholarships and transparent schemes so that no child is deprived of education due to economic or social reasons. In the program, the Collector gave a welcome speech and informed about the educational infrastructure, innovations and inclusive environment being developed in the district. The District Education Officer presented a report of departmental achievements. Apart from this, the District Panchayat President and the Mayor also wished the students a bright future. On this occasion, former MLA Mrs. Ranjana Sahu, other public representatives, officers-employees, teachers, parents and a large number of students were present.
