Jashpur.  On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, a heartfelt scene of brotherly love and trust was witnessed at the "Rakshabandhan and Dialogue with Sisters" program held in the village of Kerasai in the Farsabahar development block of Jashpur district. Women from the area tied a Rakhi to Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. While interacting with the sisters, the Chief Minister said that it was his responsibility to ensure their respect, safety, and well-being.

The Chief Minister said that respecting women, empowering them, and ensuring their economic independence strengthen families, and that strong families form the foundation of a developed Chhattisgarh. Citing the achievements of women's self-help groups, he said that more than 1.385 million women in the state have become Lakhpati Didis. Meanwhile, approximately 6.8 million women receive monthly financial assistance through the Mahtari Vandan Yojana.

 Several construction works announced in Kersai and surrounding villages

On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, the Chief Minister announced several development projects for the Kerasai area. These include a new primary school building in Ghasimunda, beautification of the Kerasai pond, a mini stadium, and the renovation of the Bajrang Bali temples in Kerasai and Ghasimunda. Also announced were the construction of a concrete road to Arun's house, a community hall in the Garhwamuda Yadav settlement, a community hall in Ghasimunda, and a Mahtari Sadan in Uparkachhar.

The Chief Minister stated that development projects worth approximately ₹84.69 lakh were inaugurated and groundbreaking ceremonies were held in Kerasai. He added that the government is prioritizing the expansion of roads, schools, community halls, and other infrastructure in rural areas.
