Vijay Sharma's counterattack on Congress on EVM controversy, said- If the machine is right in victory then why question in defeat

Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma has given a sharp reaction to the questions being raised by the Congress regarding the use of EVMs in the civic elections. Targeting the Congress, he said that when a government is formed by winning the elections through EVMs, then that system is considered correct, but when there is a defeat, the machine is held responsible. Vijay Sharma advised the Congress that instead of blaming the EVMs for the election results, the party should consider the reasons for its defeat. He said that staying among the people and serving them honestly definitely yields positive results.

The Home Minister also responded to the Congress's ongoing protests and satyagraha over sugar. He stated that sugar prices have decreased, and fluctuations in market prices are a normal phenomenon. According to Vijay Sharma, politicizing such a topic reflects the Congress's hasty political approach. He said that instead of politicizing public issues, it is important to understand the real situation.

On the issue of Bastar fighter recruitment, Vijay Sharma said that everyone understands the needs of Bastar, and the recruitment process for security forces is being continuously advanced. He added that the Naxal-affected region needs youth who are familiar with the local dialect and conditions. Local youth, along with the security forces, have played a vital role in the campaign against Naxalism, and their participation is proving useful in strengthening the security system.
