Raipur. The state's Higher Education Department has taken a significant and sensitive decision, considering the future of thousands of students studying under the National Education Policy (NEP). The government has now provided significant relief to students who were denied admission to the fifth semester due to failing one or two papers in the first or second semester, announcing provisional admission.

This decision will prevent thousands of students from losing their academic year. Recognizing the seriousness of the matter and the interests of the youth, the Higher Education Minister has clarified that the government is fully committed to removing any practical obstacles to implementing the NEP.

Minister Verma said that the Higher Education Department and our government are extremely sensitive to the bright future of the state's young students. We are fully committed to effectively implementing the New Education Policy (NEP) in the state. If any practical problems or obstacles arise during its implementation, they will be resolved promptly, keeping in mind the bright future of the youth and their overall development.

Demonstrating this sensitivity, the government has made the historic decision that students who were unable to enroll in the fifth semester due to failing one or two papers in the first or second semester will now be granted provisional admission to the fifth semester. In the best interests of students, necessary amendments will be made to the relevant ordinance in due course. The government wishes all the youth of the state a bright future.
