Raipur. Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Vikassheel today held a high-level meeting of the acting secretaries of all the state government departments at the Secretariat (Mahanadi Bhawan). He thoroughly reviewed the implementation of departmental plans and the progress of important tasks. The Chief Secretary gave clear instructions that the cases of retiring officers and employees should be resolved before their retirement. For this, the secretaries were instructed to prepare a department-wise periodic list.

At the meeting, instructions were given to prepare a setup for vacant positions and complete the recruitment process expeditiously for backlogged positions in the departments. Furthermore, the Chief Secretary directed all secretaries to regularly monitor the implementation of their respective departmental plans.

Public Service Guarantee and other portals

The meeting reviewed schemes related to Public Service Guarantee, Right to Information, Seva Setu, PM Pragati Portal, e-Pragati, de-regulation, and rural development. It was reported that approximately 728 services have been notified so far under the Public Service Guarantee Act.

Mandatory iGOT training for employees

Instructions were given to provide training to officers and employees as per the department's requirements under the iGOT (iGOT Karmayogi) platform. Each officer and employee will be required to complete one to three training courses per month.

Reform Celebration Campaign

The Chief Secretary asked the officials to prepare information on reforms related to the departments, which will be displayed in the Reform Utsav campaign to be organised in the coming days.

Registration on My Young India Portal

Instructions were given to ensure 100% registration of youth aged 15 to 29 in the state's schools and colleges on the Union Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs' My Youth India (MY Bharat) portal. District coordinators and principals have been asked to work in coordination with each other to achieve this goal.
