Over five lakh lamps lit up the Sarovar pond, and a huge crowd gathered in the presence of Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal.

Raipur, September 2026: To mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 years of public service and his birthday, the "Seva Sankalp Abhiyan-2026" was launched in Manendragarh with great fanfare. On this occasion, more than five lakh lamps were lit at the district-level lamp lighting ceremony held at Sarovar Pond in Ward No. 8. The entire area was illuminated with the light of the lamps, and a huge crowd gathered to witness this historic event.

The chief guest of the program was the State Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare and Manendragarh MLA, Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal. Health Minister Shri Jaiswal and other distinguished guests inaugurated the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and the district-level Deepotsav by lighting the lamp with due ceremony.

On this occasion, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's 25 years of public life are an inspiring chapter of national service, public welfare, and commitment to upliftment of the poor. Under Prime Minister Shri Modi's leadership, service has been transformed not just into a responsibility but into a medium for public participation and nation-building. The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan has been launched to spread this spirit of service to the masses.

Manendragarh lit up with the light of five lakh lamps.

More than five hundred thousand lamps lit around the Sarovar lake created a mesmerizing sight. The reflections of the lamps reflected in the water and the chanting of mantras filled the atmosphere with devotion and joy. A large number of people from Manendragarh and surrounding areas came to witness the event.

Health Minister Mr. Jaiswal congratulated the people of MCB district and the district administration for the successful event. He said that this event symbolizes Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi's spirit of service, the unity of Manendragarh, and the new light of development in the region. The public participation made this event historic and unforgettable.

State Yoga Commission Chairman Mr. Sanjay Agarwal, District Panchayat Chairperson Mrs. Yashwant Singh, Municipal Corporation Mayor Mr. Ramnaresh Rai, Municipal Council Chairperson Mrs. Pratima Yadav and Vice Chairperson Mr. Dharmendra Patwa were specially present in the program.
