Stage program held under the chief patronage of MLA Shri Pranav Kumar Marpachchi

Raipur, September 2026/ On the occasion of the launch of the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan', organized to commemorate the 25 years of service, dedication and struggle of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in public life, two lakh lamps were lit today in the Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district under the 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' program. The district level program was organized at the Multipurpose School Ground, Pendra, where the entire campus was illuminated by the collective lighting of 11 thousand lamps. By lighting the lamps, best wishes and blessings were expressed to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

This lamp-lighting ceremony wasn't limited to the district headquarters. Lamps were also lit at all Amrit Sarovars, including Durga Sarovar Pendra, gram panchayats, women's self-help groups of the Rural Livelihood Mission, beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Mahatari Vandan Yojana, and various government offices and institutions. The mass lamp-lighting events held across the district spread the message of service, dedication, and public participation.

Following the lighting of the lamp, the district administration organized a stage program in the assembly hall of the Multipurpose School, Pendra. MLA Shri Pranav Kumar Marpachchi attended the program as the chief guest. In his address, he said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has been serving the country with dedication, commitment, and struggle for 25 consecutive years, both as Chief Minister and Prime Minister. Shri Modi moves forward with determination, giving top priority to public welfare and national service. He remains committed to completing any task he undertakes in mission mode.

MLA Mr. Marapacchi said that today the entire nation is lighting lamps of blessings in honor of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and offering him best wishes. This event is an expression of public sentiment for his journey of public service.

Achievements of 25 years showcased through street play

During the event, school children presented a street play. The play creatively showcased the various important initiatives and actions undertaken by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi over the past 25 years in public life. The presentation highlighted various public welfare schemes and initiatives, including space missions, surgical strikes, and Digital India.

On this occasion, the chief guest MLA Shri Pranav Kumar Marpachchi administered the oath of cleanliness to the people present and gave the message of awareness and public participation towards cleanliness.

Participation of public representatives, officials and district residents

District Panchayat President Ms. Sameera Paikra, Vice President Raja Upendra Bahadur Singh, Collector Mr. Vijay Dayaram K., Superintendent of Police Mr. Manoj Khiladi, DFO Mr. Kumar Nishant, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Mr. Mukesh Raote along with many public representatives, dignitaries and residents of the district were present in the program.

Various departments, organizations, women's self-help groups, beneficiaries, and ordinary citizens enthusiastically participated in the lamp-lighting program organized across the district. The collectively lit two lakh lamps conveyed a message of service, dedication, participation, and good wishes throughout the district.
