Seva Sankalp Abhiyan- Massive blood donation camp organized in Balodabazar-Bhatapara

Revenue Minister honored blood donors

Raipur, September 2026/ To commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 successful years in public service, a massive blood donation camp was organized in the Baloda Bazar-Bhatapara district as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. Youth and public representatives enthusiastically participated in this humanitarian initiative, held at the District Hospital Baloda Bazar and Civil Hospital Bhatapara, resulting in the collection of 94 units of blood.

One unit of blood can save up to three lives.

Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma said that blood donation is a sacred act performed by a healthy individual that can give a new life to someone in need. One unit of blood donated by you can save up to three lives. Your blood can give someone life. Blood is priceless, so please donate it.

State Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, who arrived to inspect the blood donation camp, encouraged the blood donors. He honored the young people and citizens who donated blood by presenting them with roses and certificates. Minister Verma said that blood donation is a great donation that can give a new life to someone in need. Every capable citizen of society should come forward to participate in this noble cause.

Public representatives themselves donated blood and gave an inspirational message.

The camp witnessed the active participation of administrative officials as well as public representatives. District Panchayat President Akanksha Jaiswal and Vice President Pawan Sahu set an example for the youth by donating blood themselves. Out of the 94 units of blood collected, 51 units were donated to Bhatapara Civil Hospital and 43 units to Balodabazar District Hospital. According to the Health Department, the collected blood will be used for the treatment of seriously injured road accident victims, sickle cell patients, pregnant women and patients in need during emergency surgeries.

On this occasion, Municipal Council President Ashok Jain, former MLA Shivratan Sharma, former MLA Pramod Sharma, District President Sulochana Yadav, State Vice President of Bharat Scouts and Guides Vijay Kesharwani along with Chief Medical and Health Officer and Civil Surgeon were specially present.
