Raipur. The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has brought new hope and stability to the family of Gajendra Jatwar of Raigarh district. Once living in a mud house, facing the threat of rain and poisonous creatures, the family is now moving towards a secure life in a permanent home. Gajendra says that this house is not just a house for him, but a symbol of security, respect, and a better future.

Gajendra Jatwar explains that his family previously lived in a mud house. During the rainy season, the condition of the house deteriorated, and there was also the danger of poisonous creatures. The family was worried about the possibility of the house collapsing during heavy rains. Due to their limited income, building a permanent house with their own resources was difficult. During this time, he learned about the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana through the Gram Panchayat. He submitted an application for housing to the Panchayat. After his name appeared on the scheme's list, the construction process began. Now, his house is almost complete, and the family has found relief from long-standing problems. The housing construction process also provided him with employment opportunities.

Gajendra Jatwar described the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana as a blessing for his family. He said that with the permanent housing, he no longer has to worry about the house collapsing during the rainy season, and the fear of poisonous creatures has also significantly reduced. All family members now live in a safe environment. Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, and the district administration, he said that the government's housing scheme has given his family the opportunity to live a life of dignity with a safe roof.
