A dispute between husband and wife over character suspicion in Gariaband led to the woman's death; the accused is in custody.
Gariaband. A case has come to light in Jarhidih village, under the Shobha police station area of the district, where a husband beat his wife to death. According to police, a dispute arose between the husband and wife due to suspicion about her character. As the dispute escalated, the husband beat his wife with a belt, resulting in her death. Following the incident, police have detained the accused husband.
The deceased has been identified as Monica (32), while the accused husband has been identified as Ram Kumar. According to reports, the two had an argument last night over suspicions of character, during which Ram Kumar assaulted Monica. Upon receiving information about the incident, Shobha police arrived at the scene and began an investigation. Police are questioning the accused to determine the circumstances of the incident and the reasons for the dispute.
