Now, upon entering Kawardha city, you will see a changing city. With the cost of Rs 54 crore, 7.8 km road on National Highway-30 will be developed into 4 lanes and grand entrance gates will be built on both the entry routes towards Raipur and Bilaspur. Giving a big gift to the city residents today, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw and Deputy Chief Minister and Kawardha MLA Vijay Sharma performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the construction of this road at the New Mandi Complex, Kawardha. Starting from Chandrayaan Hospital and passing through the main parts of Kawardha city till Jora Taal, a divider will also be constructed in this 4 lane road. 

The religious and cultural identity of the holy city of Kawardha will be given prominence in the design of the entrance gates. At the special request of Deputy Chief Minister and Kawardha MLA Vijay Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao announced development works worth Rs. 3.50 crore for the construction of a community hall and mutton market in Kawardha Municipality, Rs. 1.50 crore for market relocation in Bodla Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 1.50 crore for the construction of Gaurav Path in Badhantola in Sahaspur Lohara, and Rs. 1.50 crore for the playground in Pipariya Nagar Panchayat. He also announced various road construction and repair works based on their demands.
 
 Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guarantee is guaranteed to be fulfilled. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sao, the Chhattisgarh government has worked to fulfill its pledges. Important resolutions like Prime Minister's Housing, paddy procurement at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal, payment of two years' old bonus, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, increase in tendu leaf wages and CBI investigation of PSC case have been fulfilled. He said that the state is moving forward rapidly in the direction of eradicating the stigma of Naxalism from Chhattisgarh. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the security forces have taken effective action against Naxalism. Due to the courage and hard work of the soldiers, Chhattisgarh is moving forward in the direction of Naxal-freedom.

Deputy Chief Minister Sao stated that the government is working with the goal of building a developed Chhattisgarh. Priority is being given to the expansion of infrastructure, including roads, in the state. Administrative approvals totaling ₹12,666 crore have been issued to the Public Works Department in the last two and a half years. Many projects have already begun and many have been completed. He stated that the government has no shortage of resources for development projects. Public funds are being spent on public development, and Chhattisgarh's treasury has been opened for the people of Chhattisgarh. As a result, the pace of development has increased from villages to cities. The Deputy Chief Minister stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sao, Chhattisgarh is moving forward towards good governance, development, and peace. Kabirdham district is also progressing rapidly on this journey of development. Expressing gratitude for the support of the district's people, he said that this pace of development will be further strengthened with public participation.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma stated that various development projects worth approximately ₹140 crore have been approved in Kawardha. These include projects related to roads, education, city development, and religious and tourist destinations. He stated that construction of a four-lane road will begin in Kawardha city at a cost of ₹54 crore. Approximately 3 kilometers of road will be developed towards Raipur and Bilaspur. A Nalanda complex is being built in Kawardha at a cost of ₹4.5 crore, featuring a 24-hour library and digital library. Ghotia Road has been constructed at a cost of ₹10 crore to establish a new bus stand. ₹1.46 crore has been approved for the development of the Bhoramdev complex. Development work is underway in the pond complex, gardens, fair grounds, Cherki Mahal, Ramchua, and Sarodha areas.

Deputy Chief Minister Sharma stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the state government is moving forward with determination, prioritizing development, good governance, and public welfare. He stated that significant success has been achieved in eradicating Naxalism. Under the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, security forces have conducted operations under difficult circumstances and taken effective action against Naxalism. Thanks to the courage and dedication of the soldiers, Chhattisgarh is rapidly progressing towards Naxal-freedom. Sharma stated that development work is also being given equal priority. Along with providing Prime Minister's Housing to every village and every household, work is being done to expand roads, education, health, and other basic amenities. The government is striving to ensure that needy families receive benefits from schemes on time and that the benefits of development work reach the common people directly.

 MP Santosh Pandey said that both the grand entrance gates to be built in Kawardha will not only be the identity of the city but will also be the gateways to development. Along with these gates, the 4-lane road to be built at a cost of Rs 54 crore will change the face of Kawardha and will provide new transportation facilities. He said that due to the efforts of the central and state governments, road, railway and other infrastructure facilities are expanding rapidly in the region. Various projects including the Katghora-Dongargarh rail line will give a new impetus to the development of the region. He said that road projects from Khairagarh to Kawardha and in Rajnandgaon region will also improve transportation. 

District Panchayat President Ishwari Sahu, Vice President Kailash Chandravanshi, Municipal Council President Chandraprakash Chandravanshi, Rajendra Chandravanshi, Police Authority member Bhagat Patel, Collector Mrs. Tulika Prajapati, Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar Yadav along with public representatives and thousands of citizens were present in the Bhoomi Pujan program.
