Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai participated in a mass singing program organized to commemorate the 150th anniversary of "Vande Mataram" at the Saraswati Shishu Mandir Higher Secondary School in Rohinipuram on September 25th. Chief Minister Sai, along with the students, teachers, and citizens present, sang "Vande Mataram" collectively. The entire school campus was filled with patriotism and national pride as "Vande Mataram" resonated in unison and unison. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced a grant of ₹50 lakh for the development of Saraswati Shishu Mandir.
Addressing the ceremony, the Chief Minister said that "Vande Mataram" is not just the national anthem, but also a powerful expression of veneration of Mother India, national consciousness, and patriotism. During the difficult times of the freedom struggle, this song awakened the spirit of independence among the countrymen and inspired countless revolutionaries and freedom fighters to dedicate their lives for the freedom of the motherland. The proclamation of 'Vande Mataram' became an expression of patriotism, courage and determination for the freedom fighters.
Chief Minister Sai noted that today, at the call of Vidya Bharati, more than one crore students and citizens are collectively singing "Vande Mataram" at over 25,000 locations across the country. The simultaneous veneration of Mother India by such a large number presents a remarkable spectacle of national unity and consciousness. He added that such events, while introducing the new generation to the glorious history of "Vande Mataram" and its role in the freedom movement, further strengthen their sense of patriotism and duty.
Children from remote areas are also getting better opportunities to progress.
The Chief Minister said that the state government has made education one of its top priorities. Our effort is to ensure that every child in Chhattisgarh, whether living in a city or in a remote area of Bastar-Sarguja, has access to quality education and equal opportunities to hone their talents. To this end, educational facilities and resources available to students are being continuously expanded across the state.
He said that talented students in Chhattisgarh are being provided with a better environment for higher education and preparation for competitive examinations. The government is striving to ensure that no talented child in the state is hindered from progressing due to lack of resources
The Chief Minister announced that the number of seats for students at the Tribal Youth Hostel in Delhi has been increased to 200. He said that 13 students from Chhattisgarh studying there have successfully passed the UPSC preliminary examination. This achievement is a testament to the talent, hard work, and drive of the state's youth. He said that given the right opportunities, guidance, and resources, our children from Chhattisgarh are capable of excelling in any field in the country.
