Raipur. In view of the heavy rains occurring in various areas of the state, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has directed the administration to remain fully alert. The Chief Minister has directed all the district collectors to keep a constant watch on the rain and possible flood situation and to provide immediate relief and assistance if required. Chief Minister Shri Sai said, we have kept the administration fully alert. All the collectors have been instructed that if any kind of need arises anywhere due to heavy rains, then necessary steps should be taken immediately. It should be ensured that the general public does not face any kind of problem.  

Chief Minister Sai also appealed to the people of the state to exercise special caution during heavy rains. He urged citizens to prioritize their own safety and that of their families and follow the guidelines issued by the administration. The Chief Minister urged people to avoid going near rivers, streams, waterfalls, and overflowing water sources, as the water flow could suddenly increase. He urged people not to attempt to cross submerged bridges and roads under any circumstances, and to strictly follow the administration's instructions at places where safety barriers have been installed. The Chief Minister urged people to avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rains, especially at night. Stay away from fallen power lines or any electrical hazards and immediately report them to the concerned department, local administration, or police. He urged parents to take special care of children and the elderly and not let them go out alone. Special vigilance has also been urged in hilly areas and areas prone to landslides.

Chief Minister Sai said that in any emergency, citizens should immediately contact Dial 112 or the local administration. For weather and relief information, rely only on information released by the government, administration, and other authorized sources, and avoid spreading rumors or misleading messages. Chief Minister Sai said that vigilance, restraint, and mutual cooperation are most important in difficult situations. If someone around you needs assistance, help them as much as possible and, if necessary, immediately inform the administration.
