'Seva Jyoti Sankalp Chowk' will be developed at 38 places in the state, Telibandha Chowk is also included in these.
The Chief Minister said that neither the name of the square is being changed nor its original form is being tampered with.

Raipur, October 8, 2026/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai clarified the confusion surrounding the renaming of Telibandha Chowk in the capital Raipur, stating that the name of Telibandha Chowk is not being changed. Neither is the name of the square being changed, nor is its original form being altered in any way.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, during a discussion with the media, stated that 38 locations in the state have been announced for development under the "Seva Jyoti Sankalp Chowk" initiative. This includes Telibandha Chowk in Raipur. He stated that no one should be confused about this. The name of Telibandha Chowk will remain unchanged; it will simply be developed in accordance with the spirit of "Seva Jyoti Sankalp."
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that various programs are being organized across the country to mark Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's 25 years of public service as Chief Minister and Prime Minister. In Chhattisgarh, it is also being celebrated as the "Seva Sankalp Abhiyan."
He informed that in this context, he will participate in the "Seva Setu" program being held in Durg today. During the program, the 32nd installment of the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, run for the mothers and sisters of the state, will be released. On this occasion, the Chief Minister extended his best wishes to all the mothers and sisters of the state.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Durg district will also receive the gift of various development and public welfare works on this occasion. He said that with the spirit of service, good governance and public welfare, the state government is continuously working for the development of every region and every section of Chhattisgarh.
