Raipur, October 2026/ Today brought new hope and relief to the family of 10-year-old Rimon Tandon, a resident of Dhurkot village in Sakti district. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai provided significant relief to the family, worried about the expensive treatment of Rimon, who is battling a rare disease, by approving immediate financial assistance of ₹12 lakh under the Chief Minister's Special Health Assistance Scheme. The Chief Minister also assured the family of all possible support for Rimon's proper treatment.

Rimon arrived with his parents during a meeting with Chief Minister Mr. Sai today. The Chief Minister lovingly held the child in his lap, caressed him, and inquired in detail about his health and treatment from the family. Upon receiving information about the family's financial situation and the cost of treatment, the Chief Minister immediately directed the approval of assistance of ₹12 lakh.

Chief Minister Shri Sai consoled Rimon's parents, saying, "He is not only your son, but also ours. It is our responsibility to care for his health. No shortage will be allowed in Rimon's treatment. Our government now has full responsibility for Rimon's treatment." He added that the state government is committed to ensuring that every citizen of the state receives the best possible healthcare and government support in times of need.

10-year-old Rimon suffers from a rare disease

Rimon Tandon, a resident of Dhurkot village in the Dabhra development block of Sakti district, suffers from a rare disease called "Isolated Growth Hormone Deficiency (Type A-1)." Doctors have determined his treatment requires specialized therapy, which is expected to cost approximately 1.2 million rupees. Arranging such a large sum was impossible for the farmer's family. Amidst concerns about treatment, the assistance received from the Chief Minister has given the family renewed strength.

Rimon's father, Mr. Ajay Kumar Tandon, supports his family through farming. Despite his limited income, his son's illness and the need for expensive treatment had caused the family significant anxiety. On one hand, the son needed urgent treatment as soon as possible, while on the other, the cost of treatment, which cost lakhs of rupees, was beyond the family's financial capacity.

In such a difficult time, the ₹1.2 million grant, approved through Chief Minister Shri Sai's initiative, has alleviated the family's biggest worry. Now, the path to providing Rimon with the necessary treatment has become easier.

Rimon's father, Mr. Ajay Kumar Tandon, expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister, saying that raising such a large sum for his son's treatment was impossible for his family. He had been concerned about Rimon's health and treatment for a long time. Chief Minister Mr. Sai understood their plight and provided a significant support to the family by immediately approving the assistance.

He said, "The Chief Minister took our son's treatment as his own concern. With his support, we are now confident that our son will receive the necessary treatment. We are deeply grateful to the Chief Minister and the state government for standing with our family during this difficult time."

Little Rimon sang a song and thanked the Chief Minister.
