Weather will change in Chhattisgarh from today: Winds will blow at a speed of 40 km in the southern part, rain and lightning alert
Raipur. The weather in Chhattisgarh is expected to change from October 15. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms is possible in the southern part of the state.
During this period, strong winds of up to 30 to 40 kilometers per hour and lightning are expected in some areas. This change in weather is likely to persist for the next few days.
According to the Meteorological Department's forecast, isolated rain is possible in the state on October 15th. The impact is likely to be more pronounced in southern Chhattisgarh. Thunderstorms and lightning are also expected in some areas on October 16th, 17th, and 18th. Light rain may also occur on these days.
Light rain is also expected in some parts of the state on October 19 and 20. However, the Meteorological Department has not issued any specific warning for these dates.
No major change in temperature is expected
Despite the change in weather, the state's maximum and minimum temperatures are unlikely to change significantly over the next five days. This means temperatures may remain relatively stable amid rain and strong winds.
Weather will change due to seasonal system
According to the Meteorological Department, the influence of a trough and an upper-air cyclonic circulation may increase weather activity in the state. A cyclonic circulation is also present over northeastern Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Bihar. These weather conditions may affect parts of Chhattisgarh.
Be careful when there is lightning
People have been advised to avoid open fields during thunderstorms and seek shelter in safe, permanent structures. Avoid standing under trees during lightning strikes and maintain a distance from power poles. Farmers have been advised to store agricultural produce stored in the open in a safe place.
