Farmer Arun expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for getting benefits from the departmental schemes : Cultivation of pulses, oilseeds and maize instead of paddy in the summer season resulted in bumper income
Jashpur. As per the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, farmers are being benefited from the schemes of the Horticulture Department for planting other crops instead of paddy in the summer season.
Proper guidance and good quality seeds and inputs are also being provided to the farmers. Due to which the farmers are planting pulses and oilseeds with enthusiasm and earning more profit at low cost.
Village farmer Shri Arun Kumar Bhagat of Pathalgaon development block has planted maize in 1.00 hectare out of his 1.500 hectare area under pulses-oilseeds maize scheme in place of summer paddy.
Farmer Arun received maize variety-Corn 9544 seeds and inputs from Senior Agriculture Development Officer, Pathalgaon. He said that there is a possibility of earning a profit of 35 thousand rupees per hectare from the production of maize.Farmer Arun has expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for getting benefits from the departmental schemes.
