Raipur : On 16.11.2024, the team of Narcotics Cell formed under Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit received information that some persons were carrying the banned drug MDMA near Durga Nagar Canal Road under Civil Lines police station area. (methylenedioxymethamphetamine) and are looking for a customer to sell.

After which the Additional Superintendent of Police City, Additional Superintendent of Police Crime, City Superintendent of Police Civil Line and Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime, in-charge Anti Crime and Cyber Unit and police station in-charge Civil Line, arrested the accused red handed with the banned drug MDMA. Directed to arrest.

On which, under the direction of senior officers, a joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and Police Station Civil Lines Police went to the place mentioned by the informer, identified the suspected persons, surrounded them and caught them.During interrogation, the persons revealed their names to be Kshitij Pandey, Siddharth Rai and Ayush Aggarwal resident of Raipur. When the team members searched him, he was found to be in possession of the banned drug MDMA.

On which the team members arrested the three accused and seized 3.88 grams of banned drug MDMA from their possession and 04 smart mobile phones related to the incident worth about Rs. 2,00,000/- and registered a case against the accused in the police station. Crime number 591/24 under section 22B Narcotic Act was registered in the civil line.In the year 2024 itself, the team of Anti Crime and Cyber Unit had arrested accused Ayush Aggarwal from Khamhardih police station in the case of banned drug MDMA in which the accused was detained in jail.
