At the Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan held today, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated Mother and Child Health Care Center in Albelapara area of Kanker District Headquarters. Earlier, Adarsh Mahila Mahavidyalaya (Model Girls' College) was being operated in this building, and later, during the pandemic, this building was converted into a COVID-19 hospital. And now, the Maternal and Child Health Care Center, which was earlier being operated in District Hospital Kanker, has been shifted in the aforementioned premise.
This health center has obstetrics and gynecology OPD, sonography, prenatal, delivery room, postnatal room, eclampsia room, operation theatre, maternity ICU, PPOT, facilities of Pediatric OPD, Neonatal Pediatric Unit, Infant Intensive Care Unit, Step Down, ward with 57-bed capacity and Nutrition Rehabilitation Center facility.
During the inspection of this health facility, Deputy Speaker of Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha Mr. Manoj Singh Mandavi, Minister of Women and Child Development Mrs. Anila Bhendiya, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Shishupal Shori, Advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Rajesh Tiwari, Member of Scheduled Tribes Commission Mr. Nitin Potai, Member of Bastar Development Authority Mr. Biresh Thakur, Bastar Division Commissioner Mr. Shyam Dhawade, IG Mr. Sundarraj P, Collector Mr. Chandan Kumar, SP Mr. Shalabh Kumar Sinha were also present.
