Raipur, August 31, 2025: The 125th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat was broadcast live today at the convention centre of Dr. Shyama Prasad Industrial and Trade Complex in Naya Raipur.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel, Industries Minister Lakhan Dewangan, Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma, Skill Development and Employment Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb, MLA Indra Kumar Sahu, and Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation Chairman Rajeev Agrawal, along with a large number of public representatives and citizens, were present on the occasion.

In his radio address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the true strength of India lies in the way its people extend a helping hand to one another during natural calamities. He observed that the solidarity and cooperation displayed in times of adversity define India’s culture and collective consciousness.

The Prime Minister further underlined the importance of sports, describing them not just as a source of health but also of confidence and leadership. He urged the youth to participate actively in sports to energise both their own lives and the nation.

Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that Mann Ki Baat brings fresh energy and inspiration to the people of the state every month. He remarked that the programme has strengthened positive thinking and national consciousness across all sections of society.

The Chief Minister also referred to his recent visits to Japan and South Korea, noting that collaborations and investments forged in skill development, artificial intelligence, and electronics would create new opportunities for the state’s youth. CM Sai Returns from Successful Japan & South Korea Tour

Grand Welcome at Airport; Traditional Karma-Panthi Dances Fill the Air with Festivity

Raipur, August 30, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today returned to Raipur after an eight-day foreign tour of Japan and South Korea. On his arrival, a grand welcome was accorded to him at the airport. The entire airport premises reverberated with the rhythm of Chhattisgarh’s traditional Karma and Panthi dances for nearly an hour. The huge turnout of people itself testified to the popularity of Chief Minister Shri Sai and the success of his foreign tour. He was greeted with floral bouquets and garlands. Covering a distance of nearly 100 metres from the airport exit to the media gallery took him about 15 minutes, as people showered flowers along the way. Later, addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude for the grand reception. He said that both Japan and South Korea have a large Indian community, including many people from Chhattisgarh engaged in business there. Meeting them was heartwarming, and it did not feel as though we were in a foreign land. He added that Indian entrepreneurs and traders are spread across the world, bringing glory to the name of Bharat everywhere.

Foreign Investments and Development Prospects to Open Up in Chhattisgarh

Speaking to the media, the Chief Minister said that his visits to Japan and South Korea had been successful and would open up new avenues of foreign investment and industrial development in Chhattisgarh. He noted that during Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Japan visit, it was agreed that Japan would invest ₹6 lakh crore in India and prepare a 10-year economic roadmap. A significant portion of this will benefit Chhattisgarh. Agreements between India and Japan are expected to boost investment in AI, semiconductors, and defence sectors, creating major employment opportunities for the youth of the state.

Agreements on AI, Semiconductors, Textiles, and Food Processing

The Chief Minister said that during his visit, discussions with Japan and South Korea led to consent for large-scale investments in AI, semiconductors, textiles, and food processing. Alongside, several industrial institutions also put forward investment proposals for Chhattisgarh. These investment proposals will create a substantial number of jobs for the youth.

He informed that during the tour, discussions were also held with trade association representatives of both Japan and South Korea. They showed a positive outlook towards expanding trade and increasing investments. The Chief Minister said that business organizations in both countries were briefed about Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy and its incentive provisions. He also apprised them of the availability of strong infrastructure for AI and semiconductor investments. They were informed that India’s first Data Centre Park is located in Chhattisgarh. He further stated that rapid investment is taking place in the semiconductor sector in the state, with financial incentives being provided to support it.

Chhattisgarh Showcased in Japanese Language at Osaka World Expo

The Chief Minister said that at the World Expo held in Osaka, Japan, the state had set up its pavilion which witnessed more than 30,000 visitors every day. He added that people gathered detailed information about Chhattisgarh’s industrial landscape, investment opportunities, and culture. With pride, he highlighted that Chhattisgarh was the only state to present its complete information in Japanese language at the Osaka Expo, which proved instrumental in effectively communicating with Japanese investors.

First-Ever Delegation from Chhattisgarh to South Korea

Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed delight that for the first time a delegation from Chhattisgarh visited South Korea. Information about Chhattisgarh was also shared in the Korean language, which helped establish strong connections with investors. Shri Sai informed that an MoU was signed with ICCK in South Korea. ICCK will now serve as Chhattisgarh’s knowledge partner, which will play a crucial role in providing skilled manpower for industries coming under the state’s new industrial policy.

Chief Minister Shri Sai concluded by stating that through this tour of Japan and South Korea, Chhattisgarh has demonstrated that it will not confine itself only to major investment hubs within India. “We will reach out to the entire world, secure markets for Chhattisgarh’s products globally, and also bring investments to our state,” Shri Sai affirmed.

Raipur, August 30, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has said that “the true meaning of good governance will be realized only when our rural women are empowered socially, economically, and within their families.” With this farsighted vision, the Government of Chhattisgarh has taken a historic step to inspire women towards self-reliance and independence.

Under the State Rural Livelihood Mission (Bihan), a special radio programme “Didi Ke Goth” will be launched on August 31, 2025, at 12:15 pm. The programme will be broadcast simultaneously from Akashvani Raipur as well as all other Akashvani stations across the state. Raipur, August 29, 2025 – During his visit to South Korea, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai extended an invitation to ModernTech Corp., a leading green mobility solutions company, and UNECORAIL, a major Korean rail maintenance solutions provider, to invest and collaborate in Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister said the state government’s priority is to promote clean energy, build sustainable transport infrastructure, and strengthen the railway network. He expressed confidence that partnerships with these two companies would give fresh impetus to Chhattisgarh’s clean energy journey and logistics backbone.

Raipur, August 29, 2025 – Public trust in Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai continues to climb, as reflected in the latest Mood of the Nation (MOTN) Survey conducted by India Today–C Voter. In the August 2025 survey, 41.9% of respondents in his home state rated his performance as satisfactory, up from 39% in February 2025. This marks a significant 2.9 percentage point rise in just six months, placing him second among chief ministers of large states.

During the Sushasan Tihar (Good Governance Festival), CM Sai travelled extensively across the state, directly hearing people’s grievances and ensuring quick redressal through grievance-redressal camps. These initiatives not only gave fresh momentum to the implementation of government schemes at the grassroots but also exposed shortcomings in the lower administrative machinery, which were promptly addressed. His sensitive and hands-on style of governance was felt closely by citizens, deepening their trust in his leadership.

The Chief Minister’s Secretariat simultaneously intensified monitoring of departments and district collectors, emphasising time-bound execution of schemes. The roll-out of the e-Office system expedited file clearances, while anti-corruption drives and administrative reforms infused new energy into governance. Fulfilment of most of the Centre’s “Modi Ki Guarantee” commitments—especially Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Mahatari Vandan, and Krishak Unnati Yojana—further strengthened the sense of confidence and satisfaction among the poor, women, and farmers. CM Vishnu Deo Sai Directs Officials to Ensure All Possible Help for Bastar Flood Victims

Instructs district in-charge secretaries to visit affected areas and monitor relief operations

Guidelines issued during review meeting on flood-affected districts

Raipur, August 28, 2025/

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has directed officials to ensure that every flood-affected family in the Bastar division receives all possible assistance. He said that it is the foremost responsibility of the administration to ease the suffering of flood-hit families at the earliest. “People should feel that in this hour of crisis, the government stands firmly with them,” the Chief Minister underlined.

CM Sai issued these instructions today while reviewing the relief and rehabilitation measures through video conferencing with the Collectors and senior officials of Bastar, Dantewada, Bijapur and Sukma districts, which have been severely affected by floods.

 Chief Minister Shri Sai instructed officials to immediately provide relief compensation to families affected by loss of human lives and livestock due to the floods. He further directed that tarpaulins, bamboo and timber poles, and cash relief for repairing damaged houses must be distributed on priority.

Shri Sai also directed that the district in-charge secretaries must visit their respective districts and ensure continuous monitoring of relief operations on the ground.

He asked the concerned departments to undertake restoration of road connectivity, repair of damaged bridges and culverts, and resumption of electricity supply in affected villages on a war footing. He emphasized that in a sensitive region like Bastar, the speedy restoration of basic services is the key to successful relief work.

The Chief Minister assured that the state government will reach every affected family and no one will be left alone. He added that the government’s goal is to ensure timely relief to every person and to accelerate the pace of rehabilitation efforts.

The review meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Shri Subodh Singh. The Chief Secretary asked Collectors to immediately send proposals if they required any additional assistance from the state government so that decisions could be taken without delay.

Principal Secretary Shri Subodh Singh instructed Collectors to ensure adequate arrangements for food, clothing and dry rations in the relief camps. He also stressed that health camps and safe drinking water facilities must be mandatorily provided in relief camps and affected villages.

At the beginning of the meeting, Revenue Secretary Smt. Reena Kangale briefed the Chief Minister on the flood situation in Bastar and the relief measures undertaken so far. She informed that additional rations have already been allocated to all flood-affected districts and are being delivered to the affected families.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister held direct discussions with the Collectors of the four districts and reviewed the progress of relief and rehabilitation operations in their respective areas. The Collectors informed him that water levels have now begun to recede in most flood-affected regions and the situation is under control. They added that the current focus of the administration is to expedite relief and rehabilitation work.

The review meeting was also attended by Public Works Department Secretary Shri Kamalpreet Singh, Bastar Divisional Commissioner Shri Doman Singh, and Inspector General of Police Shri P. Sundarraj.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, during his ongoing South Korea visit, held an important meeting in Seoul with Mr. Lee Jae Jeng, Chairman of the Advanced Technology Centre Association (ATCA), and senior officials of the body. ATCA represents a powerful industrial network of over 60 leading companies spanning IT, electronics, semiconductors, pharma, and textiles.

Welcoming the ATCA delegation, the Chief Minister underlined that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to providing an investor-friendly environment. He invited Mr. Lee Jae Jeng and his officials to visit Chhattisgarh during their forthcoming India tour and directly assess the opportunities for investment and collaboration in the state.

ATCA, in response, expressed interest in building B2B partnerships with Chhattisgarh-based firms. Chief Minister Shri Sai further said that Chhattisgarh is rich in mineral resources vital for the automobile and electronics industries. “The state has abundant lithium reserves, which can fuel the electric vehicle revolution and power new-age industries. This makes Chhattisgarh a natural hub for the global energy transition,” he remarked.

On this occasion, CM Sai also announced the onboarding of ICCK as a Knowledge Partner. He said that under the Chhattisgarh Industrial Policy 2024–30, the partnership will provide new direction in technology, skilling, and global collaborations. “With Korea’s innovation and Chhattisgarh’s resources, we will script a new era of growth,” the Chief Minister affirmed.

He further stressed that the state government is committed to handholding every investor at all levels—whether through single-window clearance, land allocation, regulatory approvals, or supportive policies. At the forum, the Chief Minister announced a major investment invitation worth $11.45 million (₹100 crore) to Sartaj Foods, Osaka, for establishing a food processing unit in Chhattisgarh. The project is expected to give a significant boost to the state’s food processing sector, generate large-scale employment, and open up fresh opportunities for local farmers—further consolidating Chhattisgarh’s position as a strong agri-based economy.

During the Business-to-Government (B2G) meetings, CM Sai also met Mr. Naoyuki Shimada, President & Representative Director of Morabu Hanshin, a leading Japanese company specializing in skilled engineers, system development, and workforce solutions. Shri Avinash Tiwari, originally from Tokapal in Bastar district, completed his early education at Navodaya Vidyalaya, Barsur, Dantewada. His father, Dr. Suresh Tiwari, is a retired teacher. Shri Tiwari said that his aim is to stay connected with the soil of Chhattisgarh and contribute to the state’s development.
