Announces renaming of Bhawani Temple site as ‘Kaushalya Dham’

Raipur, September 30, 2025/ On a one-day visit to Korba district, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the Shri Ram Katha Mahotsav held at the Bhawani Temple premises in Korba city. He paid respects to Jagadguru Shri Shri 1008 Ramabhadracharya, who had come to deliver the Ram Katha discourse, and received his blessings, praying for the peace and prosperity of the people of Chhattisgarh.

Addressing the devotees present, Chief Minister Shri Sai extended greetings on the occasion of Navratri and Dussehra. He said the arrival of the Jagadguru had sanctified the land of Korba, the energy capital of the state, and that his blessings would always remain with the people.

Shri Sai underlined that Chhattisgarh’s sacred soil is the maternal home of Mata Kaushalya and the nanihal (maternal grandparents’ home) of Lord Shri Ram. During their exile, Shri Ram, Mata Sita, and brother Lakshman had spent most of their time in this very region.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, “Modi’s Guarantees” are being implemented rapidly in Chhattisgarh. He asserted that in the coming days, the state would emerge as a developed Chhattisgarh. He further recalled the resolve made under Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah’s leadership to eradicate Naxalism from the country by March 31, 2026, and noted that sustained efforts are being made in this direction. He praised the bravery of security personnel who are fighting Naxals with courage and achieving consistent success.

He added that through the Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana, thousands of devotees are being given the opportunity to have darshan of Lord Ram at Ayodhya Dham.

On the occasion, Shri Sai announced that the Bhawani Temple site would be renamed as Kaushalya Dham.

At the newly built Kaushalya Dham Temple, the Chief Minister performed rituals and prayed for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of the state. Amid Vedic chants, he offered shreephal, flowers, sandalwood, and fruits to the idol of Mata Bhawani and performed aarti. He then bowed before the idol of Mata Kaushalya, depicted holding child Ram in her lap — the main attraction of the temple. The Chief Minister inspected the temple premises, praised the construction work, and interacted warmly with devotees present there. Local residents and public representatives extended him a heartfelt welcome.

CM also attends Ramleela Mahotsav at Open Theatre Ground

During his Korba tour, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai also participated in the Ramleela Mahotsav at the Ghantaghar Open Theatre Ground. He extended warm greetings of Navratri to the townspeople and prayed for happiness, peace, and prosperity in everyone’s life.

He said Navratri is a festival of devotion, power, and harmony, celebrated through the worship of the nine forms of the Goddess. Congratulating the organizing committee for the successful conduct of the Ramleela, he said the traditional performance is a powerful medium to convey the values and ideals of Lord Ram to the masses. With visible emotion, he recalled how watching Ramleela had refreshed childhood memories for him.

At the event, the Chief Minister and other guests were welcomed with a replica of Ram Darbar, shawls, and shreephal (coconut).

Chhattisgarh goes ‘smart’: Nation’s first ultra-modern registration office inaugurated at Nava Raipur

Raipur, September 30, 2025: Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and the initiative of Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary, Chhattisgarh today unveiled the country’s first state-of-the-art Smart Registration Office at Atal Nagar in Nava Raipur. The facility was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Tourism Minister Rajesh Agrawal and School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav, along with other dignitaries.

On the occasion, Raipur resident Veena Devangan executed a sale deed through digital payment, a demonstration carried out in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma.

PPP model to drive speed, transparency and convenience

Built on the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, the Smart Registration Office aims to deliver citizen services that are faster, transparent and in line with modern standards. From now on, registering a house, shop or land will no longer involve crowded government offices. Instead, citizens can complete the process in just 12 to 15 minutes in an environment akin to passport or airport offices.

Modern amenities for a better citizen experience

Designed to provide a seamless and comfortable experience, the office boasts advanced air-conditioned premises, free Wi-Fi and charging stations. A queue management system and digital display boards eliminate long lines, offering instant updates on documents and fees. A trained helpdesk staff is present to guide citizens at every step. Clean drinking water and airport-style washrooms ensure hygiene and convenience.

117 registration offices to be transformed across the state

The state government has set a target to equip all 117 registration offices with world-class facilities within the next year. In the first phase, 10 offices are being upgraded, of which the Nava Raipur unit is now fully functional. Encouraged by this model’s success, the central government is also considering similar upgrades across the country.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai hailed the Smart Registration Office as the dawn of a new era in governance and citizen services. “This initiative strengthens Chhattisgarh’s identity as a welfare-oriented state and underlines that citizen convenience is the foundation of good governance,” he said.

Congratulating Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma said the project represents a new benchmark not only for Chhattisgarh but also for the entire country. “State-of-the-art facilities in a government office truly reflect the change sweeping Chhattisgarh and the new direction of good governance,” they remarked.

Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary emphasized that citizen services remain the government’s highest priority. “Smart Registration Offices are a direct outcome of our commitment to good governance and citizen convenience. In the coming days, Chhattisgarh will not only lead in registration services but also in other citizen-centric services across India. These offices will bring ease, transparency and trust into citizens’ lives while creating a new identity for good governance,” he said.

International Day of Older Persons: State-Level Event to be Held in Raipur on October 1

Raipur, September 30, 2025: As part of Seva Pakhwada 2025, a state-level programme marking the International Day of Older Persons will be organised on October 1 at 11 AM at the Krishi Mandapam in the College of Agriculture campus, Jora, Raipur.

Chhattisgarh creates history under the Child Marriage-Free India campaign

Balod becomes the country’s first child marriage-free district; 75 panchayats of Surajpur also join the list

Raipur, September 30, 2025/ Under the “Child Marriage-Free India” national campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 27, 2024, Chhattisgarh has achieved a historic milestone. Balod district has become the first district in the country to be officially declared child marriage-free. All 436 gram panchayats and 09 urban bodies of Balod district have been formally issued certificates.

Balod sets a national example

In the past two years, not a single case of child marriage has been reported from Balod district. After verification of documents and completion of the legal process, all panchayats and urban bodies of the district have now been awarded child marriage-free status. With this unprecedented achievement, Balod has become a model for the entire nation.

Balod District Collector Smt. Divya Umesh Mishra said that this achievement is the result of collective participation by the administration, public representatives, Anganwadi workers, and the community. She also extended her gratitude to all panchayats and urban bodies for their active cooperation in this effort.

75 gram panchayats of Surajpur also child marriage-free

On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, 75 gram panchayats of Surajpur district were declared child marriage-free. No case of child marriage has been reported from these panchayats in the past two years. The state government has described this as a historic achievement in the direction of social reform.

Child marriage elimination is not just a government campaign but a pledge for social change – CM Sai

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government has given top priority to the elimination of child marriage. “Our goal is to gradually declare the entire state child marriage-free by 2028-29. This is not just a government campaign but a pledge for social change,” the CM said. He added that the process of declaring other districts’ panchayats and urban bodies child marriage-free has also been accelerated. In districts where no case of child marriage has been reported in the last two years, certificates will be issued soon.

Elimination of child marriage possible through partnership of society and government – Women & Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade

Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade described this achievement as an inspiration not only for Chhattisgarh but for the entire country. She said that Balod’s success proves that if society and the government work together, social evils like child marriage can be eradicated from the roots. The achievement of Surajpur, she added, is also a strong step in this direction. She further highlighted the significant support of UNICEF in this campaign. The organization has provided technical assistance, strengthened awareness programs, and monitoring mechanisms.

Chhattisgarh’s initiative is being considered a milestone at the national level. This achievement in accelerating the “Child Marriage-Free India” campaign will serve as an inspiration for other states. Experts believe that if efforts are made with community participation and education at the core, as in Chhattisgarh, it is possible to completely eliminate the social evil of child marriage from the country.

The state government is now preparing to declare other districts child marriage-free in a phased manner. The target of making the entire Chhattisgarh child marriage-free by 2028-29 will not only bring the state but also the country closer to realizing the dream of a Child Marriage-Free India.

Key Cabinet Decisions

Raipur, 30 September 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai chaired the Cabinet Meeting held today at Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhavan), wherein following significant decisions were taken:

Short-Term Loans for Government Employees

The Cabinet has decided to invite proposals from banks and financial institutions to provide short-term loans against the salaries of government employees to meet their urgent financial needs. The Finance Department has been authorized to take further action in this regard. The Cabinet has also approved the draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to be signed with banks/financial institutions found eligible through the due process.

Settlement of Outstanding Loan with NDFDC

In a major decision for the welfare of persons with disabilities, the Cabinet has approved the one-time repayment of an outstanding loan amount of ₹24,50,05,457 (Rupees Twenty-Four Crore Fifty Lakh Five Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty-Seven only) to the National Divyangjan Finance and Development Corporation (NDFDC). The NDFDC provides loans to persons with disabilities in the state at a concessional interest rate of 3 percent or above for self-employment and education.

Special Educator Recruitment

The Cabinet has granted a one-time relaxation in the provisions of the School Education Department’s Recruitment and Promotion Rules, 2019, to enable direct recruitment of Special Educators. The Finance Department had earlier approved the recruitment of 100 Special Educators in the state. With today’s decision, these posts will be filled directly on the basis of merit, instead of through a competitive examination.

At the meeting, Cabinet bid an emotional farewell to Shri Amitabh Jain, IAS (1989 batch), on his retirement from the post of Chief Secretary, and extended a warm welcome to Shri Vikas Sheel, IAS (1994 batch), on his appointment as the new Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh.

Raipur, September 30, 2025/ Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai joined several Garba celebrations in the state capital Raipur on the auspicious occasion of Navratri last night. He offered prayers to Matarani, seeking blessings for the prosperity, happiness and well-being of the state. The city of Raipur turned vibrant, soaked in Garba colours, with festive cheer prevailing everywhere.

CM Sai attended the Garba hosted by Shri Kachchh Kadva Patidar Samaj at Bhanpuri, the “Jhankaro 2025” organised by Shri Gujarati Lohana Mahajan Samaj at Aashirwad Bhawan, the “Rangeelo Raas 2025” at the Indoor Stadium, and the “Raas Garba Utsav” at Omaya Park. At these venues, members of the community welcomed the Chief Minister warmly with the traditional Kachchh turban and tilak. The lively beats of Garba and the colourful ambience were further energised by the Chief Minister’s presence, which infused excitement among the crowd.

Extending greetings of Sharadiya Navratri to the people, CM Sai said that Navratri is a festival that enhances enthusiasm, joy and goodwill. “This festival strengthens social harmony and spreads energy among the masses. In Chhattisgarh, the Goddess is worshipped in many forms, and with the blessings of this divine power, the state continues to move forward on the path of progress,” he said.

Chief Minister Shri Sai noted that Maa Danteshwari is revered in Dantewada, Maa Angarmoti and Bilaimata in Dhamtari, Maa Mahamaya in Sarguja and Ratanpur, and Maa Bamleshwari in Dongargarh. “These Shakti Peeths not only reinforce the spiritual faith of the people but also give Chhattisgarh a distinct identity as part of its cultural heritage,” he said.

Highlighting recent reforms, CM Sai said, “On the very first day of Navratri, our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi implemented GST reforms, giving new momentum to the country’s economic activities. These reforms will not only make trade smoother but also provide direct benefits to consumers. Today, through the ‘Bachat Utsav’, citizens are witnessing significant savings in their pockets, which is infusing new energy into the economy.”

He further appealed to people to prefer indigenous goods while shopping. “Swadeshi not only strengthens the country’s economy but also creates opportunities for local production and self-employment. Raipur, September 28, 2025/ Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today attended the GST 2.0 Reforms “Dhanyawad Modi Ji” programme at the Medical College Auditorium in Raipur. The Chief Minister said that the GST reforms have brought historic changes in the economic sector, directly benefitting the common people. He added that reduction in GST rates has brought happiness to the lives of 140 crore Indians.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister felicitated Padma Shri awardees from Chhattisgarh and national-level players. The programme was organised by the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Raipur Division.

Addressing the gathering, CM Sai said that the GST reforms were a historic and bold decision taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under PM Modi’s leadership, many such decisions have been taken which were once considered impossible. Whether it was the abrogation of Article 370 or the passage of the Triple Talaq Bill, these reforms have provided strength to the people.

The Chief Minister said, “I am personally visiting people to understand the benefits of GST rate cuts. Recently, when I visited a mart to meet families purchasing daily essentials, homemakers told me that these reforms had reduced their kitchen budgets. As they shared the reduced prices of each item, their faces lit up with smiles. Farmers too have received major relief. At a tractor showroom, I was informed that tractor prices had come down by ₹65,000 to ₹1 lakh.”

Highlighting the role of entrepreneurs, the Chief Minister said that traders will play a crucial role in building a developed Chhattisgarh. “The state’s new industrial policy has been widely appreciated by investors. During my recent visits to Japan and Korea, Investor Connect programmes were held, and several Asian investors expressed keen interest in investing in Chhattisgarh. Large-scale industrial investments will generate significant employment opportunities in the state,” he added.

Member of Parliament Brijmohan Agrawal said that the GST reforms introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi are unprecedented. “This step is empowering the common man. While the reduced prices of essential commodities are benefiting people, the national economy is also becoming stronger. The reforms are receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from citizens,” he said.

Raipur, September 28, 2025. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today attended the Maitri Mahotsav organised by the Sakal Digambar Jain Samaj in the state capital Raipur. The Guru Sharanam – Maitri Mahotsav – Kshamadan Utsav was held at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium under the auspicious presence of Pujya Aryikaratna 105 Antarmati Mataji Sasangha. MLA Rajesh Munat, office bearers of the Jain community and a large number of dignitaries were present.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai offered a Shreephal to Pujya Aryikaratna 105 Antarmati Mataji Sasangha and sought her blessings. He was felicitated with the traditional Jain turban and stole. The Chief Minister also honoured individuals for their outstanding work in various fields and unveiled the logo of Acharya Vidyasagar Kalyan Seva Sanstha.

CM Vishnu Deo Sai said that the Maitri Mahotsav is not just an event but a sacred occasion for inner awakening and purification. He said that the holy land of India has not only been the cradle of civilisation and culture but also a living laboratory of spirituality. “Here, religion is not confined to rituals or worship alone; it is the very art of living,” he remarked.

CM Sai underlined that Lord Mahavir Swami gave the timeless message of “Live and let live.” Referring to the recently observed Kshamadan Parv, he said its essence lies in the principle of ‘Uttam Kshama, Sabse Kshama aur Sabko Kshama’ (supreme forgiveness, forgiveness towards all and by all), which reflects greatness and embodies the message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. He stressed that Jainism has beautifully and profoundly articulated this philosophy.

Sai praised the Jain community as a benevolent society and expressed confidence that Chhattisgarh will continue to benefit from its spirit of service.

Highlighting the core values of ahimsa, aparigraha and anekant, Chief Minister Shri Sai said these are the foundations of a harmonious society. “I bow to the revered saints who, through restraint, penance and spiritual practice, have guided society,” he said, while paying homage to Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj and acknowledging the gracious presence of Pujya Aryikaratna 105 Antarmati Mataji Sasangha.

CM Sai described Acharya Vidyasagar Ji’s philosophy as a source of inspiration. “He taught us that true religion lies in renunciation, service and self-restraint. It is the good fortune of Chhattisgarh that Acharya Ji spent many years of his austere spiritual practice here and attained samadhi at Chandragiri Tirth,” he noted.

He further said that the ideals given by Jain Tirthankaras – Ahimsa Parmo Dharma, Anekantavad, Satya and Sanyam – are not only the heritage of the Jain community but also the very soul of the nation.

During the event, President of Sakal Digambar Jain Samaj, Vinod Barjatya, shared details of the Acharya Vidyasagar Kalyan Yojana being implemented by the Sanstha and appealed to members of the community to join the initiative. CII President Sanjay Barjatya also addressed the gathering.

The Chief Minister honoured Manish Jain for his contribution to the construction and preservation of Jain pilgrimage sites, Vijay Godha for his services in Ayurveda, and Sunil Sangolia for his work in social service. He also unveiled the Guru Smriti engraved in silver and the Haiku composed by Acharya Vidyasagar, which too has been inscribed on silver.

Raipur, September 28, 2025 // Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday paid floral tribute to martyr Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary at Bhagat Singh Chowk in the state capital, Raipur. He offered flowers at the statue of the revolutionary icon and bowed in reverence.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that Bhagat Singh was a radiant hero of India’s freedom struggle, whose indomitable courage, unwavering patriotism and supreme sacrifice left an everlasting inspiration for generations to come. “His life teaches us that national interest is paramount and that sacrifice for freedom is the true symbol of patriotism,” the CM said. Raipur, September 28, 2025 // Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 126th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at Sindhu Palace in Shankar Nagar, Raipur. On the occasion, he said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has become a powerful medium to connect millions of citizens, inspire them, and bring forth innovation and good practices.

CM Sai paid homage to revolutionary martyr Bhagat Singh and legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar on their birth anniversaries, recalling their invaluable contributions. Extending greetings to people of the state on the auspicious festival of Navratri, he said that the occasion of Shakti worship reinforces the nation’s collective spirit.

Chief Minister Shri Sai noted that during the programme, the Prime Minister mentioned the extraordinary feat of two courageous women officers — Lieutenant Commander Dilna and Lieutenant Commander Roopa — who successfully completed the ‘Navika Sagar Parikrama.’ The duo sailed 47,500 km over 238 days, hoisting the tricolour at the world’s most remote location, ‘Nemo Point,’ and brought immense pride to the nation.

Speaking about ongoing reforms, CM Sai said that the country is celebrating the ‘GST Savings Festival.’ Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, GST rate cuts have provided major relief to citizens — from daily essentials to vehicles, farm equipment and machinery. He added that the PM has been consistently calling for building an Atmanirbhar Bharat, where promoting swadeshi products is a key step.

Raipur, Sept 24/Chhattisgarh is no longer confined to its traditional core sectors and will soon establish a national identity in the fields of wellness, healthcare and tourism, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said while addressing the Chhattisgarh Care Connect programme held at Omaya Garden in Raipur.

Chief Minister Shri Sai began his speech by extending greetings for Sharadiya Navratri and said the event had come at a time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s GST 2.0, with its emphasis on simplicity, transparency and speed, had opened up unprecedented opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs. He stressed that in sync with the Prime Minister’s vision of a Viksit Bharat, the state government has set a target of a developed Chhattisgarh. To achieve this, more than 350 reforms have been implemented over the last one and a half years. “We have moved beyond ease of doing business and entered the era of speed of doing business,” Sai declared.

He emphasised that the state’s new industrial policy has become the bedrock of Chhattisgarh’s progress, boosting investor confidence. As a result, in just one year, investment proposals worth nearly seven and a half lakh crore rupees have been received, which will create lakhs of jobs and give the service sector a new identity.

Referring to proposals presented at Care Connect, the Chief Minister said that eleven major projects in the hospital and healthcare sector had come forward, including Ginni Devi Goyal Manipal Hospital in Raipur with 500 beds, NeerGanga Hospital and Research Centre in Raipur with 450 beds, Bombay Hospital with 300 beds, and Maa Padmavati Institute of Medical Sciences in Raipur with 750 beds. In total, the healthcare sector has attracted investment proposals worth more than ₹2,466 crore, which will generate nearly 6,000 new jobs.

CM Shri Sai added that the Medicity being developed in Naya Raipur would transform the state into a national medical hub. Patients not only from different districts of Chhattisgarh but also from neighbouring states already come here, and with the completion of Medicity, super-speciality services of world standard would be available. He further noted that Chhattisgarh has immense potential in the pharma sector as well, and the state government is preparing a pharma hub where multiple pharmaceutical industries will operate in one location. This will give a new direction to the pharmaceutical industry and ensure an easy supply of essential medicines for super-speciality hospitals.

Chief Minister Shri Sai pointed out that Chhattisgarh’s rich cultural heritage and biodiversity offer vast opportunities for the tourism industry. Investment proposals worth more than ₹652 crore were received from the hotel and tourism sector, including the Westin Hotel Raipur with an investment of ₹212.7 crore, Hotel Ginger, Inferion Hotel and Resort, and Amuseorama Amusement Park and Hotel. Sai highlighted that tourism has been granted industry status, which will give special benefits to investors, and appealed to entrepreneurs connected with hotels, resorts, homestays and entertainment to utilise the state’s cultural and natural wealth to take tourism to new heights.

Assuring investors, he said that Chhattisgarh has a single-window ‘One-Click’ system that eliminates the need to run around for NOCs. Giving an example, he said that after the Delhi Investor Summit, Palimatech was allotted land and granted all approvals in less than three months, enabling it to start work on a project worth ₹1,100 crore.

CM Sai also announced that Chhattisgarh is embracing the AI revolution, with an AI Data Centre Park being developed in Naya Raipur which will make the state a hub of artificial intelligence and data management. He said there are immense opportunities for industries connected with data centres. On the energy front, the Chief Minister said that energy is the most essential element in building a developed India, and Chhattisgarh is moving rapidly towards becoming the country’s power hub. Already playing a vital role in coal, mineral and power production, the state’s contribution will increase further in the coming years.

He emphasised that the central location of Chhattisgarh in India gives it a unique advantage. Abundant availability of raw materials, strong road, rail and air connectivity, and skilled human resources make it an ideal destination for investment. He informed that an air cargo service has also begun in the state, which will accelerate trade. Sai underlined that Chhattisgarh will no longer be limited to steel, cement, power and aluminium but will now gain recognition in the service sector as well. Healthcare, hospitality, tourism and AI-based industries will provide the state economy with new dimensions in the years ahead.

Industry Minister Lakhhan Lal Dewangan, speaking at the programme, said the government would provide every possible facility in all types of investment, including health and tourism. He noted that the new industrial policy has increased the attraction of industrialists towards the state. The Chief Minister, he said, had personally attended investor summits not only in various states but also abroad in Japan and South Korea, and more than five rounds of meetings had been held with investors. As a result, proposals worth nearly seven and a half lakh crore rupees have been received in the last ten months. He added that efforts were being made to encourage the hotel and tourism sector as well, and under the guidance of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the state was striving to achieve the best possible results.

The Care Connect programme in Raipur saw prestigious companies from the healthcare and hospitality sectors place major proposals. For healthcare, Bombay Hospital Trust of Mumbai proposed a 300-bed super-speciality hospital in Raipur with an investment of ₹680.37 crore, promising 500 jobs. Maa Padmavati Institute of Medical Sciences proposed a 750-bed multi-speciality hospital in Raipur with an investment of ₹340 crore and 1,500 jobs. Aarogyamrit Wellness LLP proposed a health and wellness centre in Raipur with an investment of ₹300 crore and 1,000 jobs. Four Seasons Hospital and Research Centre proposed a 600-bed facility in Raipur with an investment of ₹302 crore and 1,400 jobs. Ginni Devi Goyal Manipal Foundation planned a 500-bed multi-super-speciality hospital in Raipur with an investment of ₹307 crore, creating 100 jobs. NeerGanga Hospital and Research Centre of Vandana Group proposed a 450-bed multi-speciality hospital in Raipur with an investment of ₹205.23 crore and 302 jobs. Memon Healthcare Pvt Ltd proposed a 150-bed Sanjeevani Super Speciality Hospital in Raipur with an investment of ₹101 crore and 400 jobs. Modern Medical Institute proposed a 150-bed super-speciality hospital in Raipur with an investment of ₹91.8 crore and 555 jobs. Shriram Sanjeevani Cancer Hospital proposed a 100-bed facility with an investment of ₹70 crore and 200 jobs. RS Armani Healthcare LLP proposed a 50-bed hospital with an investment of ₹59.37 crore and 76 jobs. Vrinda Chest and Medical Sciences proposed a 50-bed facility in Raipur with an investment of ₹10 crore.

On the hospitality side, the Westin Hotel Raipur of the Sarda Group, Nagpur proposed an investment of ₹212.7 crore with 400 jobs. Panchamrit Entertainment Pvt Ltd proposed an Amuseorama Amusement Park and Hotel in Raipur with an investment of ₹80.91 crore and 300 jobs. Inferion Hotel and Resort in Raipur came with a proposal of ₹80 crore. Hotel Ginger Raipur of the DSS Group proposed an investment of ₹78 crore with 135 jobs. MM Hotel Inn and Resorts in Raipur proposed an investment of ₹63 crore with 110 jobs. Prayas Mall and Multiplex in Dhamtari proposed an investment of ₹41.82 crore with 30 jobs. Inferion Lake Resort in Balod and a hotel in Rajnandgaon together was proposed with investments of ₹25 crore each, promising 175 jobs. Godriwala and MM Group of Raipur proposed an amusement park with an investment of ₹24.9 crore and 70 jobs. Bafna Lawn and Hotel in Dhamtari, of the Sarovar Portico Group, proposed an investment of ₹20.97 crore with 22 jobs.

In total, the investment proposals announced at the event stood at ₹3,119.07 crore, including ₹2,466.77 crore in healthcare and ₹652.3 crore in hotel and tourism. Together, the projects will generate over 7,000 jobs and add more than 2,800 new hospital beds in the state.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai thanked investors, saying this investment would establish Chhattisgarh as a new centre for healthcare, wellness and tourism, and the state would play a leading role in building Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India. Concluding the event, he added that Chhattisgarh offered unlimited opportunities for investment and the government, under the new industrial policy, would provide every possible facility and support to investors. Raipur, September 23, 2025/ Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday flagged off a fleet of four buses from Raipur’s Akashvani Chowk Kali Mandir, marking the start of a free bus service to Dongargarh’s Maa Bamleshwari shrine for Navratri devotees. Nearly 200 pilgrims boarded the inaugural run.

The initiative, organised by Kali Mata Seva Samiti, will operate through all nine days of Navratri. Four buses will ply daily, ferrying devotees to Dongargarh and back after darshan.

Applauding the effort, CM Sai said the Samiti has been carrying out the seva for a decade with a spirit of dedication. “This service is not only a symbol of faith but also a shining example of social unity. Many devotees long for darshan but cannot travel far—this initiative fulfils that wish. The very thought of Maa’s darshan fills hearts with divine energy, and now reaching Dongargarh has become simpler than ever,” he remarked. He also prayed to Maa Kali and Maa Bamleshwari for Chhattisgarh’s peace, prosperity, and happiness, while extending Navratri greetings to all citizens.

Chief Minister Shri Sai pointed out that the recently launched Rajim–Raipur MEMU train will also benefit devotees from the state’s ‘Kumbhnagri’ Rajim, easing travel to Dongargarh. He praised Kali Mata Seva Samiti leaders Shrichand Sundrani, Deepak Bhardwaj, and other office-bearers for their commitment to public service.

Raipur, September 22, 2025/ Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the “Agrasen Jayanti Mahotsav 2025” organized by the Agarwal Mahasabha at Agrasen Dham in Raipur on the occasion of Bhagwan Agrasen Jayanti. He lit a ceremonial lamp and garlanded the idol of Bhagwan Agrasen to formally inaugurate the programme. On the occasion, eminent personalities for their outstanding contributions and meritorious children were felicitated on the main stage.

Praising the charitable tradition of the Agarwal community, CM Sai said that the community has always been at the forefront of humanitarian service and philanthropy. “The community is deeply rooted in trade and business, known for its hard work and dedication while constantly serving humanity. Calling the day historic, CM Sai noted that from today onwards, the ‘GST Savings Festival’ has begun nationwide at the call of the Prime Minister. “Today marks the confluence of multiple celebrations. Yesterday, our visionary Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his address to the nation, appealed to celebrate the GST Savings Festival with great enthusiasm. The reforms in GST have been carried out keeping in mind the demands and suggestions of the business fraternity. These changes will directly benefit not only traders but also consumers,” he stated.

Highlighting the simplification of the tax system, CM Sai said, “Now with only two GST slabs instead of four, complexities in taxation will reduce. Traders will be able to conduct business with ease, and simplified procedures will make tax compliance easier. This will ensure wider participation of every section in nation-building. In line with PM Modi’s vision, the Agarwal community will have a vital role in achieving the goal of a developed Chhattisgarh along with a developed India by 2047.”

Raipur, September 21, 2025/ Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today inaugurated the newly constructed community hall of the Mahra Samaj at Guru Govind Singh Ward in Jagdalpur. The hall has been built at a cost of ₹1.63 crore.

On this occasion, CM Sai was accorded a grand welcome with traditional Mohri Baja. Members of the Mahra Samaj enthusiastically honored him by adorning him with the traditional Mahra Pata. Chief Minister Shri Sai cut the ribbon to formally inaugurate the hall and expressed gratitude to the community for the invitation and the warm welcome on this historic occasion.

In his address, CM Sai recalled the glorious history of the Mahra Samaj. He said that Jagdalpur was founded by Jagtu Mahra, while Dharmupura was established by Dharmu Mahra. He particularly highlighted the active role of the community in movements like Bhumkal and its resistance against the oppressive policies of the British.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that it was due to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah that the Mahra Samaj was granted Scheduled Caste status. This historic decision, he said, will open up greater opportunities for the youth of the community in education and employment, ensuring a brighter future.

Highlighting various welfare initiatives, CM Sai said that PM Modi’s primary goal is the welfare of the poor and the economic development of farmers. He informed that so far, 18 lakh houses have been approved in the state. Farmers are being procured 21 quintals of paddy per acre, with a payment of ₹3,100 per quintal.

Emphasizing employment for youth, CM Sai said that a new industrial policy has been formulated in the state to create more jobs and promote self-employment. He added that the government is working rapidly for the complete eradication of Naxalism, so that development works like road construction, electricity supply, and installation of mobile towers in affected regions can proceed smoothly. He said that along with basic amenities such as housing and ration supplies, welfare schemes are also being delivered to the people. “In this direction, the Niyad Nellanar Yojana is proving to be a long-term solution,” he remarked.

Raipur, September 21, 2025/ Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai reaffirmed that the state government is committed to the holistic development of tribal communities. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Dharti Aba Gram Utkarsh Yojana with the vision that there should be no shortage of funds or resources for the development of tribal-dominated villages. For this scheme, a provision of ₹80,000 crore has been made. He added that the PM Janman Yojana, meant for the upliftment of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) — referred to as the adopted children of the President — is ensuring positive steps to connect these communities with the mainstream of development.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said these meaningful initiatives will usher in a wave of development in tribal areas and enable tribal communities to march ahead on the path of progress. He made these remarks while addressing the divisional-level Nuakhai Milan of the Dhurwa Samaj and the inauguration of the newly built community hall “Olekh” at the Forest School campus in Jagdalpur. On the occasion, CM Sai announced ₹75 lakh for the construction of five domes for the Dhurwa Samaj at different locations, each to be built at a cost of ₹15 lakh. He also assured approval of development proposals submitted by 36 sarpanches of the community’s gram panchayats.

Chief Minister Shri Sai performed rituals at a symbolic gudi dedicated to Goddess Danteshwari, the presiding deity of Bastar, and formally inaugurated the Dhurwa Samaj’s new community hall “Olekh.”

Paying tribute to the community’s great hero Shaheed Gundadhur, CM Sai said that this historic Nuakhai Milan is a celebration of the rich cultural traditions of the tribal society. “It is our proud tradition that before consuming any grain or fruit, we first offer it to our deities. This tradition continues today and will be preserved for generations to come,” he said.

Congratulating the Dhurwa Samaj on the inauguration of “Olekh,” he said the new facility will be extremely useful for the community’s development and serve as a venue for meetings and conventions.

CM Sai recalled the contribution of the architect of Chhattisgarh, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He said Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, keeping the welfare of tribal communities in mind, had established a separate Ministry of Tribal Affairs in the Government of India. Extending greetings on the Silver Jubilee year of Chhattisgarh, he said Vajpayee’s birth centenary year is being observed as Atal Nirman Varsh.

Highlighting the role of Special Tribal Area Development Authorities, CM Sai said that former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh had set up these bodies for Bastar and Surguja to ensure that, in addition to existing schemes, necessary development works could be carried out in these regions.

He further said that his government is actively implementing the Niyad Nellanar Yojana in Maoist-affected areas of Bastar division, ensuring roads, bridges, electricity, and drinking water along with basic facilities such as housing and ration supplies. “We are working with complete commitment to ensure that every eligible person receives the benefits of welfare schemes,” he asserted.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, extending his greetings to the members of Dhurwa Samaj, said that the coordinated effort of the society is inspiring for the younger generation. “When we continue to uphold and preserve the traditions of our ancestors, the unity and culture of our community grow stronger,” he said.

Such a moment unfolded at the Dhurwa Samaj’s Nuakhai Milan in Jagdalpur when Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai picked up four-year-old Bhoomika Baghel in his arms and fed her a traditional Mahua laddoo.

The little girl, from Ulnar village in Jagdalpur block, had arrived with her grandfather, Sonsari Baghel. Clad in her community’s traditional attire, Bhoomika instantly drew attention with her innocence. When CM Sai asked her name and which class she studied in, her simple reply — “I study in LKG at Deepti Convent School” — accompanied by a radiant smile, melted the gathering.
