Raipur . The Chhattisgarh NSUI has raised a strong demand for free tickets for students for the India vs. South Africa cricket match, scheduled to be held at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Naya Raipur on December 3rd. On Tuesday, a delegation led by NSUI State Vice President Amit Sharma submitted a memorandum to Ravikant Agarwal, Deputy Director of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department, requesting that the state's students be given access to the international match.

NSUI's argument: Only 1,500 tickets for students in a stadium with a capacity of 65,000
spectators. In the memorandum, the NSUI stated that the CSCS has allocated only 1,500 tickets for students in a stadium with a capacity of 65,000 spectators, at a rate of ₹800 per ticket. The organization stated that most students cannot afford this amount, while over 5 million students in the state want to experience international sports by watching the match live.

Jashpurnagar  On the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, along with getting continuous approval for the construction of various road routes to make the traffic smooth and uninterrupted in the district, the construction work is also going on at a rapid pace. In this sequence, approval of a total of Rs 20 crore 48 lakh has been given for two important road projects. In these, approval has been given for the construction of 5.05 km long access road from Jashpur main road to Khudiyarani-Kanjia hill Korwa settlement. This road including bridges will be constructed for Rs 6 crore 91 lakh 14 thousand. With the construction of this road, access of hill and tribal settlements to the main market and administrative centers will be easy.

Similarly, approval has been granted for strengthening the 17.60 km long Jashpur-Drisanna Road, for which ₹13.56 crore (135.688 lakh) has been sanctioned. The upgrade of this road will provide improved transportation and make traffic safer and more seamless.

Jashpurnagar. As part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign, District Panchayat CEO Abhishek Kumar was presented with a counting form by a Booth Level Officer (BLO) at his official residence on Monday. Durg:  A case of attack on a municipal corporation team has come to light from Bhilai in Chhattisgarh's Durg district. Similarly, after the death of late Santosh Kumar Sahu, working as peon in Government Higher Secondary School Sirgitti, his daughter Divya Sahu, Alok Kumar Tandon, son of late Vinod Kumar Tandon working in Government Pre-Secondary School Vedparasada Vikaskhand Masturi, after the death of late Rakesh Kumar Soni, peon of SEJES Maharani Laxmi Bai School, his son Naveen Soni, resident of Sai Nagar Uslapur have submitted applications for compassionate appointment in the DEO office.

Therefore, claim-objection was invited

The High Court issued a notice to the DEO asking him to submit a reply. After hearing the case, the court ordered the petitioner to be granted compassionate appointment. On this, the court issued an order to initiate contempt proceedings against the concerned officer. Jashpur:  Chhattisgarh's Jashpur police have achieved a major breakthrough in a liquor smuggling case. Police have arrested an accused who paid for the diesel fuel used in the vehicles involved in the liquor smuggling. Police are currently searching for the main accused.

Balod:  A case of fraud has come to light in Balod district of Chhattisgarh. A man was duped of over 2 lakh rupees  (Balod fraud news) in the name of healing the sick through tantra-mantra and promising financial gain  . Police have arrested three accused, two women, in the case.

More than 2 lakh rupees defrauded in the name of tantra-mantra

The case is from the Dundi police station area. Dhaneshwari Thakur, a resident of Khairwahi village, currently living in Jhalmala Ganganagar, was duped of over 2 lakh rupees under the Dundi police station area, under the pretext of curing her ailing husband through rituals and tantra mantras, and solving financial problems. Police have arrested the three accused. They have been identified as Ravi Netam (40 years old), a resident of Kaneri Maneripara village, Purur police station, Reena Netam (30 years old), and Padma Mandavi (50 years old), both residents of Kaneri village.

How the fraud happened

According to the information, the victim stated in her complaint, "The victim, Dhaneshwari Thakur, lives with her husband in a rented house in Jhalmala Ganganagar. Her husband is paralyzed on the left side of his body and lives in Jhalmala Ganganagar for treatment. This year, during Teej, a woman came to her house offering to sell Tikhur (sweets). Upon seeing her husband, she said, 'Your husband has been bewitched. We have a Baiga who will perform rituals and cure him.'" She then left.

After this the accused said that they will perform puja and return the cash and gold and silver jewellery after touching it to the goddess of the house. The woman agreed to their words. Right there.

All three accused arrested

The accused were successful in defrauding her by luring her with their words. Based on the woman's complaint, the police began investigating the case. They formed a special team and detained suspect Ravi Netam, accused Reena Netam, and Padma Mandavi for questioning. Initially, they attempted to mislead her, but then confessed to their crime. They defrauded her of ₹272,000. The police arrested them and sent them to judicial custody.

Jashpur. CG Suicide: A sensational suicide case has come to light in the Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh. A student of a missionary school hanged herself in her hostel room. It is being reported that the student was upset by the principal's inappropriate touch and harassment. Police arrived at the scene upon receiving information and have begun an investigation.

According to information received, this entire incident occurred in the Bagicha police station area. The deceased student was living in the hostel and studying in the 9th grade. Today, she committed suicide by hanging herself in her study room. Balrampur District Education Officer Balrampur-Ramanujganj has suspended Assistant Teacher (LB) Mr. Ashok Kumar Yadav posted at Government Primary School Fatehpur of Development Block Balrampur for negligence in election related works (SIR).

He was appointed as an undesignated officer at polling station No. 237 Fatehpur for distribution and collection of counting sheets for Special Count Revision (SIR).

Durg . Late Sunday night, a sudden fire broke out at the Sai Industries mattress manufacturing factory in Murmunda village of Durg district. The fire quickly spread throughout the premises. People nearby informed the factory owner, Ashwani Verma. After this, the Kumhari police station and the Durg fire department were informed. As soon as

the information was received, six fire engines from Durg reached the spot. The fire fighters sprayed water all around the factory. After a lot of hard work, with the help of about four tankers of water, the fire was extinguished. The fire was so intense that drums containing foam adhesive chemicals exploded, further fueling the fire. Most of the factory's materials were destroyed in the incident, and the structure also collapsed. Workers faced considerable difficulties while extinguishing the fire.According to factory operator Ashwani Verma, the fire caused damage estimated at approximately 2 crore rupees. The cause of the fire is currently unknown. The Kumhari police station is investigating the matter.

These 55 projects will be launched in 26 districts of the state, through which more than 12 thousand affordable and quality houses will be constructed.
