Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Arun Sao on Wednesday promised to turn Bilaspur district into an education hub if voted to power in the urban power body polls.Sao released an 'Atal Vishwas Patra for municipal corporation elections in Bilaspur.

He said that they will make Bilaspur an education hub by establishing a coaching hub and Nalanda complex.Their key promises for Bilaspur include:Harihar Bilaspur Yojana to be restarted and massive tree plantations under it, a Seva Sadan in memory of freedom fighters of Bilaspur and a youth hub for skill development.A new auditorium and memorial in honour of Bilasa Devi Kevtin, a solar microgrid to reduce electricity bills, and revival of the Arpa River.A total of 173 civic bodies will go on poll in a single phase on February 11. The votes will be counted on February 15.
