Collector gave instructions to pay special attention to the educational quality of children: Action will be taken against teachers who do not reach school on time and are absent, instructions to BEO and BRC to regularly inspect the schools in their area
Jashpur: Collector Rohit Vyas held a review meeting of the education department on Sunday and issued directions to pay special attention to the educational quality of children from the beginning of the academic session.Also, the children have been asked to be given the benefits of government schemes like uniforms, books, scholarships to eligible children, bicycles etc.
The collector has asked the block education officers to work towards improving the quality of education.For this, he also asked to take the help of NGOs so that the education level of children can be improved.
On this occasion, Deputy Collector Prashant Kushwaha,District Education Officer, UNICEF, Open Link Foundation, Pratham Education Society, Azim Premji Foundation representatives and all the Block Education Officers of the district were present.
The collector gave strict instructions to all the development block education officers and said that they will regularly inspect the schools in their area and will keep a constant watch on the attendance of children in the school, whether the teachers are present in the school on time or not.Action has been asked to be taken against those teachers who do not reach school on time and remain absent. The collector has asked all the cluster coordinators to do tracking to observe the attendance of teachers.The Collector has given instructions to prepare a daily diary in all the schools and to record the daily activities.He said that during inspection of schools, it is mandatory to observe the daily diary and instructions have been given to prepare the baseline of children going from 5th to 6th class.The collector has given instructions to pay special attention to weak children at the primary level and improve their educational quality. He has given instructions to improve their educational level by organizing additional classes for weak children.
The Collector said that instructions were given to the BEO and BRC to submit a weekly report about those teachers who are not active and do not pay attention to teaching the children.Instructions have been given to organize camps in schools with the help of Patwaris and teachers to make caste certificates for children. Along with this, they have been asked to make a checklist of the necessary documents for making caste certificates and provide the necessary documents.For this, instructions have been given to take the cooperation of the parents of the children also so that important and necessary documents can be submitted.
