Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai listened to the 130th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' with public representatives in Kansabel.

Jashpurnagar : Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai listened to the 130th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's radio talk 'Mann Ki Baat' along with public representatives and common citizens in Kansabel.On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Mann Ki Baat is not just a programme, but it is a platform to strengthen the positive thinking, citizen participation and spirit of nation building in the country.

In today's episode, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the nation, mentioned Republic Day and National Voters' Day and said that becoming a voter is an important milestone in the life of any citizen and it should be celebrated as a festival.Recalling the 10-year journey of Startup India, the Prime Minister said that today India has become the third largest startup ecosystem in the world.He appreciated the innovations being done by the youth in areas like AI, space science, green hydrogen, biotechnology and described quality as the key to the country's development.He said that now every Indian product should be identified by its top quality. He appealed to the youth to get themselves registered as voters as soon as they attain the age of 18 and called for active participation in strengthening democracy.

The Prime Minister mentioned the efforts made for water conservation and environmental protection with public participation in different parts of the country.He described the revival of river Tamsa in Uttar Pradesh, conservation of water bodies in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, cleanliness drive by youth in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and individual efforts for environmental conservation in West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh as inspirational.Referring to the campaign 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam', he said that more than 200 crore saplings have been planted across the country so far, which is a symbol of increasing public awareness towards the environment.The Prime Minister also called for greater use of millets, calling them an effective means of improving nutrition and increasing farmers' income. He also spoke about social cohesion, family values, and collective efforts.He highlighted the global recognition of Indian values through examples such as community kitchens in Gujarat, drug de-addiction efforts in Jammu and Kashmir, and preservation of Indian culture in Malaysia.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that all these examples given by the Prime Minister show that the country can be taken forward in every field through public participation, innovation and sense of duty.He appealed to the citizens to imbibe the messages of the Prime Minister and adopt cleanliness, environmental protection, democratic participation and quality-based work culture.
