Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai meets delegation of Halba–Halbi community

Invitation extended for Shakti Diwas and 201st martyrdom day of revolutionary Gend Singh

Raipur, December 06 2025// Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met the delegation of Chhattisgarh Halba–Halbi community at his residence office here on Friday. 

The delegation informed Chief Minister that the community will hold its social convention and Shakti Diwas celebrations on December 27, 2025, at Pulgaon in Durg, and will observe the 201st martyrdom day of revolutionary freedom fighter Gend Singh on January 20, 2026, in Raipur. Chief Minister was formally invited to both events.

Shri Sai thanked members of the Halba–Halbi community for the invitation, praised the community’s cultural heritage and inspiring history, and conveyed his best wishes for the success of both programmes. 

Shri Mahesh Gagda, Dr Devendra Mahla, Shri Girivar Thakur, Shri Hriday Ram Kosma, Shri Mithir Ram Salendra along with other senior members of the community were also present.
