Government Medical College to be built in Kunkuri at a cost of Rs 359 crore
Jashpur - Following the budget announcement of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai's government, the people of the state have received further good news. Approval of ₹359 crore has been granted for the construction of a new government medical college to be established in Kunkuri, Jashpur district. The Finance Department has given its consent for this important project.
The state government has already approved 60 posts for the college's operations. Now, with the funding approved for building construction, the process will accelerate. This will provide better and more accessible medical facilities to local residents and those in surrounding districts. Additionally, this project will provide new employment opportunities for local youth. On this occasion, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Finance Minister Shri OP Chaudhary and Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai for approving funds for the construction of the medical college building. He stated that this decision will strengthen the region's health infrastructure and provide a new direction in the fields of education and employment.
