RaipurChief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai held a high-level meeting today at the Secretariat Mahanadi Bhawan to discuss the goals of the Education Department under the Chhattisgarh Anjor Vision 2047. During the meeting, he discussed in detail the short-term goals up to 2030, the medium-term goals up to 2035, and the long-term goals up to 2047. He directed officials to prepare concrete action plans and ensure their prompt and effective implementation. Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has set the goal of a developed India 2047, and in line with this, steps are being taken towards achieving the goal of a developed Chhattisgarh through the 'Anjor Vision'. He stated that education is the most powerful foundation for achieving these goals, as only skilled, efficient, and smart children will be able to face the challenges of the future. The Chief Minister also stated that the number of teachers in the state is better than the national average and that quality education is being provided in government schools. During the meeting, the Secretary of the School Education Department shared all the information with the Chief Minister through a presentation. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that if a teacher fulfills his or her responsibilities with determination, no one can stop children from having a bright future. He emphasized the need to promote healthy competition among teachers, provide leadership opportunities to talented teachers, and develop a better academic environment. He also directed to strengthen elementary education through Anganwadis and Balwadis and further strengthen coordination with the Women and Child Development Department. The meeting reviewed key goals under Anjor Vision 2047, including the establishment of 1,000 model schools, the school complex system, the launch of international-level schools, an AI-based assessment system, personalized lesson plans through digital apps, the improvement of teacher training, and the expansion of virtual education. The Chief Minister placed special emphasis on the establishment of a Science City, the organization of science fairs, and the launch of AI and robotics labs to promote education. The meeting also discussed in detail issues such as zero dropout rates by 2035, the formation of a state-level committee, teacher recruitment, strengthening assessment centers, and setting targets for the next three years to ensure prompt action. He reviewed the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education's functioning—candidate data collection, question paper preparation, exam administration, and evaluation—and directed the development of additional subject options at the higher secondary level, a question bank based on competitive examinations, an error-free evaluation system, and a tracking system for the transportation of confidential question papers. The meeting also presented achievements such as the significant increase in enrollment rates under NEP 2020, the integration of kindergarten into school education, mother tongue-based teaching, the "Magic Box" and dialogue programs, Eco Club activities, digital broadcasting under PM e-Vidya, and the expansion of vocational education. The Chief Minister said that the goals of Anjor Vision 2047 are to empower the future generation of Chhattisgarh,Will play an important role in making the state self-reliant and globally competitive. Renu Pillai, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Rahul Bhagat, Secretary of School Education Department Shri Siddharth Komal Pardeshi, Secretary of Women and Child Development Department Smt. Shammi Abidi, Secretary of General Administration Department Shri Rajat Kumar and senior officers of the School Education Department were present in the meeting.
