Alumni share their experiences: Meeting old classmates, reminiscing about school days, brings them to emotional conclusions.
Jashpurnagar : Eklavya Adarsh ​​Residential School, Sanna, organized the Alumni Meet 2025. The main objective of the program was to provide a common platform to the former students of the school, so that they could share their life journey, experiences and achievements with the current students and inspire them.
The program started with garlanding and lighting a lamp on the photograph of Late Veer Narayan Singh, who was known as the first freedom fighter of Chhattisgarh, a true patriot and the messiah of the poor. After this, the current students of Eklavya Vidyalaya Sanna welcomed the former students by presenting them with a bouquet of flowers and singing a welcome song. After this, all the former students shared their experiences about how they have reached this position today by facing adverse conditions. After this, the current students mesmerized the people present by giving group songs, solo songs, cultural programs and group presentations. The school also organized various games for the former students, in which the current and former students also participated enthusiastically.
58 former students of the school participated in the Alumni Meet-2025, most of whom are serving in some institution or the other, out of which 1 Deputy Collector, 1 Food Inspector, 1 MBBS Intern, 3 Medical Officers and in the field of medicine, 1 Engineer, 2 Assistant Grade III, 1 Sarpanch were present, more former students will be included in the coming year.
Anit Kumar Chatterjee, Principal said that women's education has special importance in human society, because no work, be it social, economic, cultural, political, is complete without women, women are the basis for building a good society, women are the main basis for the continuity and productivity of the society, when a woman becomes a teacher, she not only becomes empowered herself but the entire family and society progresses, and we have got the good fortune that we have taught the girl students of poor tribal families.
Other teachers at the school also stated that a teacher's true achievement is that the students they teach surpass them and bring glory to themselves, their families, society, and the school. Teachers also shared information about the changes that have taken place in the school since 2005. The program was conducted by Basant Kumar Gupta, TGT. At the end of the program, mementos were presented to all the former students present. All the students, teachers, and staff of the school were present at the event.
