Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao extended advance New Year greetings and best wishes to the three crore people of Chhattisgarh. He said that the year 2026 will be a year of moving forward with new enthusiasm and energy for Chhattisgarh and the country. He expressed confidence that Chhattisgarh will be Naxal-free in 2026 and the foundation of a developed Chhattisgarh will be strengthened this year. Development work is taking place at a rapid pace in the state and the government is committed to fulfilling the resolve of a developed state.


The Deputy Chief Minister said that the year 2025 has been a historic and memorable one in many ways. This year, the country celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, giving a message of unity and integrity. The 150th birth anniversary of Vande Mataram was also celebrated. Mr. Saw noted that 2025 marked the centenary year of former Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna, respected Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The state of Chhattisgarh celebrated its silver jubilee year, marking 25 years since its formation. This year has seen many significant achievements for the state. The new industrial policy has increased investment, providing youth with employment in various sectors, including government employment. Chhattisgarh has established a new national identity, particularly in the field of sports.
Mr. Saw noted that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has completed 100 years of its founding. The Sangh is continuously working to create public awareness through various programs. This will strengthen awareness, goodwill, and unity in society, contributing to the nation's progress and prosperity.


Reacting to the Congress convention in Surajpur, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said that the Congress government has defrauded the people of Surguja during its five-year tenure. Today, the public is questioning what they have done for the region. Regarding the infighting among Congress leaders, he said that the party is rife with infighting, and all leaders are busy appeasing the Delhi court and saving their seats. This is why both the public and the workers have distanced themselves from the Congress.
