Instructions given to issue show-cause notice for negligence and indiscipline in government work
Jashpurnagar . Collector Rohit Vyas and District Panchayat CEO Abhishek Kumar held a review meeting of all the BEOs, ABEOs and principals of all the government high and higher secondary schools of the district in the District Panchayat meeting hall today under the Yashasvi Jashpur program. In the meeting, they thoroughly reviewed important topics like half-yearly examination results, target of 100% result in board examination, special strategy for students performing poorly in class 10th and 12th and for students coming in merit, attendance of students and continuous monitoring of schools. Along with this, the progress of inoperative bank accounts of government schools and creation of Apaar ID was also reviewed.
Expressing deep displeasure over the poor exam results and negligence in teaching, Collector Vyas directed the principals to take necessary and concrete steps to ensure the desired academic results. He directed to appoint a nodal officer for inspection of each high and higher secondary school and to take the task of establishing regular contact with the parents of students absent from schools with utmost seriousness. He directed to issue show-cause notices to the principals of Higher Secondary Tapkara, Higher Secondary Simda, Indira Gandhi Kanya Higher Secondary Pathalgaon and SEZES Kunkuri for indiscipline, negligence in government work and poor exam results. He also asked to take action for suspension if a satisfactory reply is not submitted within the stipulated time.
In the meeting, Yashasvi Jashpur's nodal officer Vinod Gupta spoke on various points from the perspective of achieving 100% result in class 10th and 12th board exams. For the preparation of the upcoming pre-board and board exams, he gave information about teaching based on the blueprint of the board exam, practice of writing answers according to marks, meticulous evaluation and corrective tips, including one and a half hour periods for three subjects every day. Statistical officer Kishore Kerketta, Sanjeev Sharma of Yashasvi Jashpur, Avnish Pandey along with all the Block Education Officers, Assistant Block Education Officers and Principals of the schools were present in the meeting.
