Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai on Wednesday announced an increase in the installment of dearness allowance given in the pay scale of government officers and employees and said that this increase is an effort to provide relief to our officers and employees from rising inflation and to respect their hard work and dedication.

He said that Chhattisgarh's administrative system is the backbone of our governance system, and we are working with full commitment for their welfare. From January 1, 2026, dearness allowance has been increased from 55% to 58% in the seventh pay scale and from 252% to 257% in the sixth pay scale.
