On the occasion of the 16th National Voters' Day 2026, organized as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, Jashpur district has been selected for the state-level Best Electoral District Award under the category of "Effective Use of Technology in Elections." This honor is a result of the efficient leadership, innovative thinking, and continuous administrative efforts of Collector and District Election Officer Rohit Vyas. This award will be presented to Collector Rohit Vyas by the Chief Electoral Officer, Chhattisgarh, at a state-level function organized on January 25, 2026, at Vivekananda Auditorium, Indira Gandhi Agricultural College, Raipur.

Jashpur sets new benchmark with technology-based innovations: 

During the elections, Jashpur district made significant use of information technology to ensure a transparent, smooth, and effective electoral process.
