Meritorious students of Jashpur district were honoured by Governor Deka and Chief Minister at Raj Bhavan.

Jashpur tops in Chhattisgarh, 33 students create record

Jashpurnagar . Under the chief patronage of Governor Ramen Deka, 239 meritorious students of the 10th and 12th grades were honored at the Raj Bhavan. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai presided over the ceremony, and School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav was present as a special guest.

In the program, maximum 33 students from Jashpur district have been honored in the entire state. Collector Rohit Vyas, CEO District Panchayat Abhishek Kumar and District Education Officer PK Bhatnagar have congratulated all the students. 18 students of Sankalp Shikshan Sansthan have received this honor. In which 14 students were from Sankalp Shikshan Sansthan Jashpur, 01 from Sankalp Shikshan Sansthan Kunkuri and 03 students from Sankalp Shikshan Sansthan Pathalgaon. Simran Shaba of Jashpur district who stood first in the entire state in 2023-24 and Naman Khuntia who got first place in 2024-25 were honored with gold medals.  

In this talent award ceremony organized by the Board of Secondary Education in Chhattisgarh Mandapam of Lok Bhavan, students were honored with Rs 1.5 lakh each under Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Meritorious Student Incentive Scheme. In the program, awards were given to 110 topper students of the year 2024 and 129 topper students of the year 2025. This also includes students from special backward tribes. In this category, Agoshma Vanvasi and Ambiraj Pahariya of Sankalp, Ankita of Sage's Garden were honored.

The students who were honoured included Tipesh Prasad Yadav, Yuvraj Pankra, Purnima Pankra, Ankit Kumar Yadav, Harshita Singh, Jitendra Banjare, Pooja Chauhan, Sanjana Pankra, Kareena Toppo, Ritu Kurre, Mahi Dansena, Aradhana Kujur, Arpita Shaili Kujur, Preeti Samdoor, Rasina Chauhan, Ratnesh Pradhan from Sankalp, Anushka Singh, Rupesh Layak, Shreyansh Yadav, Dimitra Singh Khadag, Uma Bareth, Ayushi Gupta, Mona Yadav from SEJES Jashpur, Saloni Singh, Kareena Singh from SEJES Pathalgaon, Stuti Pandey, Ayush Sahu from Prayas Vidyalaya, Nisha Ekka from DPS. A team of teachers was sent to Raipur along with Assistant Director Kishore Kerketta to involve the students in the programme.
