Raipur. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is not just a scheme for rural poor and needy families, but has emerged as a guarantee of respect and secure future. This scheme has brought positive change in the lives of lakhs of families in the country as well as in the rural areas of Chhattisgarh. One such inspiring story is of Mrs. Sukhbai Khute, a resident of village Semra of Janpad Panchayat Navagarh of Janjgir Champa district. Whose life was filled with happiness due to this scheme.
During this time, she learned about the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) through the Gram Panchayat. With the Panchayat's help, Sukhbai applied for the scheme. After submitting the necessary documents, she was selected as a beneficiary. Approval under the scheme brought a new ray of hope to Sukhbai. With the financial assistance provided under the scheme, construction of her house began. During the construction process, she received technical guidance and necessary support at the Panchayat level. Gradually, her dream began to come true, and within a few months, her own permanent home was ready. Today, Sukhbai Khute lives a safe and dignified life with her son in her new permanent home. She no longer fears rain, cold, or heat. She explains that living in a mud house was previously very difficult, but now she has no worries. Mrs. Sukhbai says that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has provided a secure life for a poor family like hers. She is extremely grateful to the government and administration for this.
