Raipur, February 19 (HS). Governor Ramen Deka paid his respects to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on his birth anniversary on Thursday. He extended his greetings and best wishes to all the countrymen. The Governor paid his respects to Shivaji by lighting a lamp and offering a wreath before his statue in Tatyapara, Raipur.

Governor Deka said that despite limited resources, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj established a strong and welfare state through his indomitable courage, vision, and organizational ability. His administrative structure was based on justice, transparency, and accountability. The organizing committee honored the Governor on this occasion by presenting him with the Maratha Warrior Honor memento.
